Managing the Electrical team in supporting the Mega plant operations where my duties can be summarized
but not limited to the following:
Responsible for implementation and roll out of maintenance systems. Champions roll out- and ensures
full usage of Cognos LN PM.
Ensures integrity and sustainability of equipment and processes through conducting audits and process
checks and initiating corrective action where required.
Drives innovation and improvement of lines and assets.
Manages people and resources to ensure uncompromised safety, availability and quality while minimizing
the impact on the environment.
Establishes, monitors and reinforces control on maintenance strategy execution in plant in alignment with
country strategy.
Is accountable for all MPs and spare parts store personnel daily.
Through the MPs, organizes and schedules PMs, CMs and annual overhaul of production lines and
facilities.
Improves efficiencies by increasing preventative maintenance across the plant and to minimize
breakdowns and reduce mean time between failures.
Develops business plans providing productivity improvement and stretchy targets for cost efficiency.
Contributes to preparation and controls annual plant maintenance budget ensuring sufficient funds to
cover all routines and initiatives reflected in strategy & operational plans.
Ensures optimal spare parts and maintenance materials inventory management without outage.
Responsible for policy & procedures development, publishing and compliance of same (engineering, HQSE
and any other regulations that could affect engineering operations.)
Ensures continuous and effective assets management.
Actively participates and ensures the implementation of various infrastructure or process optimization
projects in Production.
Optimizes the ability of assets for operation.
Evaluates effectiveness of corrective actions using all available data.
Preparing Gap analysis for the electrical team to identify the knowledge gap and recover through proper
trainings
Knowledge sharing among the team members through filling TT&T documents (CBA - OPL - CIP) and
sharing within the team by creating training sections to have better knowledge sharing
Supporting the operations and the electrical team when big failures occur with PLCs and automation
Coordinate with OEMs for having needed support and manage their activities once present on site
Managing the Technical team to maintain smooth operations in the factory and the farm
Installation, Commissioning, Qualification and Verification for bottling lines, Utilities and all production
related machinery at Mega-Plant Project (8 bottling lines project with High-bay warehouse, automatic
truck loading system, waste water treatment plant, MV switch gears,
BMS, MES, and Laser Guided Vehicles)
• Estimating and supervising maintenance activities for 4 Juice & CSD production lines and 1 NAB filling line
• Maintenance documentations, schedules, and planning
• Arranging quotations for spare parts from suppliers along with preparation of preventive checklist for all operating machinery, and tracking on the spare parts delivery
• Assist Maintenance Manager for the preparations of Budget, in addition to handling petty cash expenses for the maintenance department
• Supervision of Maintenance Personnel’s and preparing the yearly evaluation based on their performance
• Actively involved in the installation and commissioning of new bottling line from (KHS - Germany), new Co2 plant 500Kg/hr from Union engineering & water treatment with de carbonation and softener plant from Viola.
• Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of line utilities including steam boilers, Ammonia water chillers, air compressors, and CO2 production plant, cooling towers, and comfort chiller.
• Independently capable of maintaining and troubleshooting the entire Electronics, Electrical & Mechanical problems in the plant, and programming and troubleshooting PLC (Siemens) to maintain the productivity of the system
• Contributed in achieving the overall enhancement of Plant Efficiency.
• Coordination of work with Production, QC, Finance and Procurement Departments
• Professional research on DC-DC converters for portable applications
• Professional research with the R&D team in the power management of IC and DC-DC converters operating at very high frequencies as an internship for obtaining the Master II. The title of the research was: “Efficiency study of a Buck-Boost Converter operating at high frequency”.
• Managed key maintenance operations the company fleet including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
• Managed security guard and employee uniform adherence
• Monitors and follows up all administrative and maintenance services related to warehouse for all electrical/electronic systems including generators, elevators, coolers, refrigeration rooms, dock levelers, forklifts, CCTV, access controls, fire alarms, burglar alarms, and Building management system BMS
• Follows up on the yearly maintenance implementation for the warehouse equipment and facilities
• Ensures follow up on all maintenance contracts and negotiation (contract bill, cars insurance / compulsory insurance)
• Develops and follows-up the periodic preventive maintenance schedule for the Company’s administrative vehicles and motorcycles taking into consideration the time required for maintenance and branding, in addition to the preventive maintenance schedule for the machines operating inside the warehouse and in the shrink wrapping section
• Handles the vehicles/motorcycles’ oil and fuel supply and provides the services and material required for minor maintenance, repair and washing of Company vehicles/motorcycles
• Follow up on all reports on Oracle related to maintenance and cost analysis (fuel cost analysis, maintenance reports, electricity expenses, etc.)
