Manage core multi-disciplinary engineering works as well as supplementary engineering as QA/QC, Safety, architect, IT and HVAC.
Mange, supervise and report on project activities along the interface between Contractor, project management consultant, Third party, IVB and special studies agencies.
Review and Follow up the procurement process of all project equipment which includes preparation of specification, prequalification of vendors, preparation of material requisitions, tender bid evaluation, placement of orders, inspection and expediting operation, release of shipment, delivery and final site receipt surveillance.
Provide technical and troubleshooting support to construction and commissioning team throughout the construction up to RFSU condition.
Review and technically challenge contractor Concession requests, Design Change notes, NCR’s, Change order claims and variations, and study their impact on project overall cost and delivery times.
Arrange and participate in project various design reviews, safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, PHASER, Risk analysis / ranking, HSEIA, QRA, …..etc), PDMS model reviews, material handling and constructability reviews.
Carry out all Quality Assurance works including internal and external audits, qualification of contractors, subcontractors, vendors and workshops, as well as lesson learned sessions.
Monitor project progress, especially along critical path, and timely attends engineering delays to recover early plan.
Give proper attention in the design, and utmost safety precautions when implementing project brown field scopes which generally involve Task Risk Assessment, Work permits, SIMOPS, lifting operation, Hot works, tie ins integrity conditions, time and sequence of work and commissioning activities as well as shutdown duration and operational opportunities.
Ensure that all new equipment, including safety critical HSECES, is operating to their performance standard characteristics.
Review pre-commissioning punch lists, and attend relevant engineering items.
As a member of project management team, ensure safety of people and facilities, follow up progress, control budget, measure performance, review manpower requirements, ensure compliance with specification and quality, and handover the facilities as per project objectives.

The above responsibilities have been applied on the following Mega projects:

NASR Full Field Development Project Offshore & Onshore Facilities.
Upgrade of Zakum Field Water injection Facilities (offshore).
System Based Integrity Management for quality upgrade of offshore and onshore oil & gas production Facilities and utilities.
