• Facilitate the acquisition of regulatory and governmental approvals, permits, licenses and authorizations

• Develop, implement and continue to improve the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the QHSE Management System to be compliant with OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards including the corrective and preventive measures
• Propose, implement and monitor measures necessary to comply with HSE legislation and codes of practices.
• Carrying out HSE Audits. Assist in Setting key performance indicators (KPI’s) and their application as a Tool for Pro-active approach for the continual improvement process
• Development and management of the HSE budget.
• Investigate or arrange for all accident and near Misses be investigated, prepare reports of findings, including recommendations to prevent re-occurrence and implement approved courses of actions
• Maintain accidents statistics and the company HSE records, analyze trends and propose and take remedial actions when necessary
• Mentor, lead and develop a team of HSEQ office and site based personnel
• Organize training in all matters of the HSE personnel
• Promoting HSE awareness throughout the Organization
• Establish and maintain the Company building Emergency plan
• Assist local and international contractors with HSE processes in line with Company/Contractor
• Management requirements involving interface documentation, HSE Cases and HSE Plans.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and develop HSE method statements and local safe work procedures for the Company and its Contractors and ensure their timely application at site
• Participate in the incident investigation and reporting process as requested by management
