Job Responsibilities:
• Define and manage the operations strategy to run and improve the distribution operations.
• Manage distribution route planning, vehicle capacity utilization and manpower for the daily distribution plan.
• Data analysis of the trucks mileages across the network and the monitoring of the fuel consumption.
• Manage 3PL partners for warehousing and transportation ensuring that 500 plus drop points across the country are served on daily basis as per the service level agreements between Nestle and the partners.
• Track and trace of the trucks throughout the network to via GPS system to ensure that the deliveries are reaching on time.
• Managing exceptions with customers ensuring first time right deliveries.
• Continuous data analysis and work with the 3PL teams to enhance safety and productivity along with customer satisfaction keeping cost reductions and reduction in lead-times to serve first time right.
• Safety lead for the Nestle operations in the 3PL premises.
• Manage the operation reviews with the 3PL partners to discuss performances and arrange trainings and developmental activities for the 3PL staff.
Key Achievements:
• Integral project team member responsible for transitioning 3PL operations from one partner to another, resulting in enhanced operational oversight and annual cost reductions of approximately 1 million USD.
• Contributed as a key member in the pioneering of cutting-edge Transport Hub concept in the UAE by implementing advanced technological solutions for route planning, culminating in a substantial annual cost reduction of 400, 000 USD.
• Served a pivotal role as the sustainability champion, driving the strategic management of pallets in collaboration with CHEP and transitioning away from single-use pallets, thereby contributing to sustainable logistics solutions. Led the external audit of the operations and achieved a good result within the first year of new ways of working.
PHYSICAL LOGISTICS PROJECT SPECIALIST
Leading and Implementing Projects related to warehousing and Physical Logistics across the warehouses and distribution centers of 19 countries within the market.
Updating, maintaining and presenting the Logistics Measures dashboard of the region to the Supply Chain Leadership team and the Operations Leadership team of the market.
SAP Material Handling Superuser for the MENA market.
BCP lead for the Supply Chain Function for the MENA market.
Zone EMENA reporting lead for the Logistics Stream for the MENA market.

Updating and Maintenance of the Power BI dashboard for the Physical Logistics including Logistics Operational and Financial measures including logistics damages, line loading, storage, market returns, Freshness at dispatch and slow-moving material analysis.
Leading the Physical Logistics part in maintaining and housekeeping of the I nexus tool for capturing savings.
CAPEX requestor in the NIMT tool for the Supply Chain within the MENA market.
Maintenance and housekeeping of the Document management tool (DMS) for the MENA market Supply Chain.
Aid in data extraction and providing information for providing bases for any new initiative taken in the Logistics the market.
Back up and the point of contact for the Logistics officers in 19 countries providing support to the operations remotely to keep the business flow running.

Certified Supply Chain professional from Blue Ocean Academy’s (Affiliated with IPSCMI, USA) coupled with MBA (HR) background offering 5+ years of experience currently associated with Nestle Dubai Manufacturing, Dubai, UAE as Logistics Supervisor
