- Act as a media spokesperson for Shell in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and serve as the main focal point for media engagements

- Write, develop and edit content in English and Arabic such as communications plans, articles, holding statements, press releases, and other external communications from Shell within the MENA region

- Review any external communications which require Media Relations approval and work with Investor Relations to ensure alignment with disclosure process

- Manage engagements with the media and Shell senior leaders either in interviews or during conferences

- Facilitate media training sessions for Shell speakers in the MENA region

- Work with agencies to develop, translate, or publish content for Shell or set up media engagements

- Managed Shell's MENA Facebook presence of almost 1 million fans, including content development and posting in English and Arabic, responding to fan questions, and working on strategies to broaden social media presence

- Developed and edited communications plans, press releases (in English and Arabic), and other external communications within the MENA region

- Developed country-focused communications for Shell Abu Dhabi, including external and internal articles, press releases, and speeches, and managing relationships with UAE media

- Short-Term International Assignment to support Qatar Shell's Internal Communications in Doha and at the Pearl Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) plant in Ras Laffan

- Developed and advised on internal communications plans and strategies

- Managed communications displayed on TV screens across Qatar Shell offices

- Wrote articles for intranet site which involved interpreting technical information to develop content for a non-technical audience

- Supported in updating Qatar Shell's intranet site to make it more user-friendly and visually appealing

- Worked with key stakeholders to develop staff communications (email bulletins, announcements, production updates, etc.)

- Managed all branding and design-related activities, including event branding, campaign promotions, and graphic design

- Led the videography team for the 2012 Arab Media Forum, producing over 150 interviews on YouTube as part of social media coverage for the event
