- Responsible for all FDRs, Appointment desk and Cashier Depts.
- Arranging all FDRs monthly schedule and annual vacations in accordance with the hospital department’s needs.
- Supervising and monitoring Outpatient clinics (OPD) and solving all problems concerning patients’ registration, appointments desk, insurance, billing, complaint, etc.
- Coordinating with patients services dept. to provide a high quality service to the customers that matching patients and customers rights.
- Training all the staff on the basic responsibilities of FDRs such as booking appointments answering phone calls and conducting with patients.
- Facilitating all difficulties that may happen between patients and staff, and between staff and admin.
- Submitting monthly and weekly reports and statistics to Admin.
- Great experience in dealing with insurance approval, billing, and familiar with almost all insurance companies and medical terminology.
- Reviewing all approval including acceptance cards, validity and guide lines
- Reviewing all invoices done by staff and correct them.
- Interpreting between Arab and non-Arab speakers.
- Doing all reception works including patient registration, booking and rescheduling, answering phone calls, reviewing insurance policies, billing and cashiering.
- Follow up with insurance department regarding patients pending approval, and contact patients for booking different procedures and specific treatment.
- Providing assistance and giving information to the patients and answering their queries.
- Monitoring Outpatient clinics and solving all problems concerning patients’ registration, appointments desk, insurance, billing, complaint, etc.
- Coordinating with patients’ services dept. to provide a high quality service to the patients, that matching with patients’ rights and hospital regulations.
- Using the computerized system to make booking, rescheduling and cancellation of appointments.
- Handling petty cash, generating invoices and receiving cash and credit from the patients.
- Checking the eligibility of patient’s cards limits and covered items from insurance.
- Submitting monthly and weekly reports and statistics to Admin.
- Great experience in dealing with insurance approval, and familiar with almost all insurance companies.
- Great knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
