● Managing HR activities of 3 stores & 1 Warehouse in different regions with 4 HR officers having a headcount of 1900+-.
● Partnering with the leadership of the store operations team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly related to current and future talent needs.
● Maintaining compliance with federal and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
● Creates learning and developmental programs that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
● Responsible for Overall hiring including white and grey collar positions, along with their orientation & placement.
● Managing staff payroll through Time Trax.
● Managing & dealing with government authorities including EOBI, ESSI, Excise & Taxation departments.
● Patriciate in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints/concerns are brought forth.
• Looking after overall hiring and new joiners’ placement of RFL Plant.
• Preparation of annual training matrix based on TNA.
• Revamping & increase utilization of RFL resource club to encourage continuous learning by engaging experts from within RFL for in-house training sessions.
• Roll out Performance assessment activity of previous year.
• Planning, developing and execution of developmental plans for different cadres.
• Developing SOPs and HR Policies as per requirement of the organization.
• Responsible for day-to-day HR Operational matters with Head Office Team, e.g. Attendance matters, Medical Advance/Special Cases etc.
• Assisting Head HR in HR budgeting.
• Third Party 3P work force management according to production requirements.
• Handling workers grievances matters.
• Looking after third-party 3P monthly payroll processing activities and govt related matters i.e. PESSI, EOBI & Education Cess.
• Reports: (Daily third party 3P wages & production summary report), (Monthly 3P wages, Production (Per Carton Cost), Man Hours & OT Hours Comparison.
• Be up to date about supply of resources in the market to understand critical employees and positions in the organization.
• Create pipeline of current and future resources according to needs of the business.
• Engage in vacancy justification with HRBPs in order to understand the actual need of resource in a particular area to ensure headcount optimization.
• Responsible for end to end recruitment cycle for vacant positions whilst ensuring KPI's like time to fill and quality of hire.
• Focus excessively on employer branding to attract high potential resources and making PEL an employer of choice in engineering sector all over Pakistan.
• Liaison with target universities, manage career fairs, plan regular visits to universities for recruitment drives all over Pakistan.
• Continuously improve on boarding plan and coordinate with respective HRBPs for smooth integration of new joiner with his/her department.
• Carry out buddy employee engagement meetings on quarterly basis to reinforce their significance and role.
