Project Overview:

Kais CCPP is a 1, 266.71 MW power generation project developed in partnership with GS Engineering & Construction Corp. and Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. The project involves the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning ofthe power plant, with a focus on safety and compliance across all phases ofthe work.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Oversaw and coordinated Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS), ensuring compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures for all disciplines involved in the execution of systems completions.
• Ensured that all construction work and re-work in commissioning areas adhered to PTW protocols, including the issuance ofMechanical and Electrical Isolation Certificates when required.
• Ensured compliance with company SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) requirements during EPC contractor activities, contributing to the safe and efficient execution ofcommissioning operations.
• Led the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process and actively participated in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify and mitigate potential risks during commissioning activities.

Project Overview:

The GEAT project is ajoint venture between Sonelgaz and General Electric to establish an industrial complex focused on the manufacturing ofgas turbines, steam turbines, alternators, and control systems. The site is located in Ain-Yagout and is a critical part ofAlgerias energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Ensured all site personnel were fully informed about site-specific safe working procedures and practices, fostering a culture of safety and awareness.
• Prepared and reviewed risk assessments and job safety analysis (JSA) for critical activities and high-risk operations, ensuring safe work procedures were in place.
• Conducted site EHS inductions and maintained ongoing EHS training courses for staffto ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigated incidents (EHS concerns, near misses, stop work situations) and issued detailed reports and close-out reports, ensuring all safety concerns were addressed promptly.
• Updated and tracked the weekly EHS action/findings register, coordinating with Site Managers (SM) and EPC teams to implement corrective actions and follow up on progress.

safety during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Liaised with the client and ensured full compliance with HSE contractual requirements, monitoring the projects adherence to safety regulations and ensuring that corrective actions were implemented when necessary.
• Led the development and submission of monthly and weekly HSE reports, ensuring all safety activities were documented and communicated effectively.
• Issued work permits and organized Toolbox Talks to communicate critical safety issues and operational hazards to field personnel.
• Organized and led inspections to verify the effective implementation ofthe HSE Plan, ensuring that appropriate safety measures were in place throughout the project.
