o 6 Data Centers Closure in KSA to consolidate data centers to 5 main data centers instead of 11
o Automation of routine operations like patching, shared folders access result in yearly saving of 900+ man-hours
o On Call engineers consolidation from 5 to 3 result in yearly saving of 800+ man-hours
o High Availability Design/Implementation for 5 critical application for SABIC business
• Build/Refine policies and procedures for IT System Engineering Infrastructure operation
• Ensure compliance with IT Standards process
• Ensure that all processes and documentation are adequate and effective to meet specifications and audit requirement
• Define improvement plan for service portfolio and infrastructure project portfolio
• Assure that any emergency and critical change(as a result of infrastructure changes) follows the approval process
• Develop IT continuity framework including criticality of configuration items, backup storage and protection plan, incident and disaster threshold, disaster service requirement, roles and responsibilities, etc. and regularly test IT continuity plan
• Define and execute change control procedure to ensure IT continuity plan is current
• Ensure suppliers keep IT computer platform up to date, monitored, and meeting SABIC compliance requirements
• Ensures implementation of hardware meets SABIC’s technology infrastructure design and architecture.
• Supporting production applications and infrastructure
• Work with development teams, business users, testing teams, and operations teams to devise and execute application and infrastructure transition to production plans
• Building highly available systems (SQL, Print, File, .. etc.) based on Microsoft clustering and third party clustering
