As a Site Manager Assistant I am responsible for:-
1. Recommends the construction engineering organization for approval by the Field Construction Manager.
2. Directs construction-engineering activities of the assigned construction engineering staff.
3. Coordinates with the Contract Superintendents and subcontractors to plan construction schedules.
4. Directs the preparation of requisitions for field procured materials.
5. Plans and recommends procedures to be implemented.
6. Directs the maintenance of construction engineering records for job history. Supervises the receiving, distribution and filing of plans and specifications.
7. Works with Client’s resident engineering and operating personnel to coordinate construction activities.
8. Directs preparation of cost estimates for construction activities and coordinates the preparation of cost reports, forecast and progress reports.
9. Implements controls over variables affecting job progress to ensure engineering and procurement provide timely delivery of drawings, materials and equipment and those other corporate services are fully utilized.
10. Administers assigned subcontracts.
11. Administers major subcontract changes and represents the company in major contractual discussions and negotiations.
12. Performs personnel evaluation for subordinate personnel.
13. Ensures that subordinate personnel receive progressive training.
