- Managing Operations team & handling any administration or technical issues related to them.
- Review the customers’ documents issues through report extracted from the system to monitor the reason for the delay.
- Tracking the employee efficiency report through report extracted from the system to be able to distribute the workload.
- Analyze the problems related to the system to report the problem to the concerned person or department and work on the enhancement.
- Solving the issues between the operation team and the customs employees regarding the customs certificate to make sure the accuracy of the cost and other actions related to the certificate.
- Export and analyze reports to the operation director to solve the conflict between the company and the corporate customers.
- Help and support CSR team in handling some of the issues in the customs certificates.
- Follow up with application team in any updates related to the system
- Working in aligning with cost benefit strategy to minimize cost and improve quality.
- Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials. Resolve any.
- Reviewing Legal issues pertaining to transportation / distribution.
- Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement of goods.
- Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information data.
- Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand.
- Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
- Develop and maintain transportation system international freight that ensures business needs are met with managing customs clearance activities.
- Manage contracts of 3rd party service providers for logistics operations, hold management reviews ensuring agreed KPIs levels are satisfactory.
- Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customs clearance department budgets.
- Following up all operations related to duties drawbacks and export subsidies programs.
- Establishes employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
- Operating agency activates for several types of vessels calling Egyptian ports.
- Handling all aspects of vessels disbursement account for port calls.
- Monitoring and updating vessel schedule, following up daily loading and discharging operations to ensure efficient turnaround, and daily reporting.
- Preparing statement of facts for operating vessels.
- Responsible for releasing imported cargo documents to final receivers (Delivery orders, invoices, correction and amendment letters).
- Issuing export documents for loading vessels (Bills of lading, cargo manifest, master receipts, etc...).
- Handling and coordination for husbandry matters, bunker, provisions supplies and surveys.
- Analyzing daily operations at Alexandria, El Dekheila, Abu Qir and Damietta ports.
- Coordinating with the shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs clearance agents for handling the export and import shipments
- Complementing the procedures of export sales by preparing all required documents to be sent to customers or the bank.
- Following up the shipping procedures step-by-step from plant to the port of destination on client's country
- Processing and following up the procedures of imported raw materials, plant machinery and spare parts.
- Perform procedures and formalities required to refund the drawbacks for exported shipment
- Responsible of registering the plant products in ECHA (The European Chemicals Agency) to fulfill REACH program requirements
- In addition of acting as "Foreign Purchasing Coordinator", obtaining best price for supplementary raw materials, spare parts, equipment and packing materials.
- Inventory monitoring and control, act as a liaison between clients and warehouse maintaining inventory
- Supervising warehouses and following-up goods handling and stowing.
- Issuing preliminary purchase orders.
- Follow-up and tracing vehicles carries out distribution operation of the orders.
- Coordinate and schedule delivery of products to meet the customers' needs.
- Conducting calculations to reach the optimum usage of the vehicles fleet
