*Maintains a high standard of safety practice in the Laboratory through adequate training, suitable equipment and consistent utilization of safety, environmental and industrial hygiene procedures. *Managing laboratory shift activity, quality control and certification of final product in plant inventory, quality control of ship/truck loading, liquid effluent and air emissions monitoring on EMethanex plant. *Fully Operational reporting through the LIMS (Lab Information management System) including managing and editing samples Schedule, Static and Dynamic tables, and quality Control
*Carry out quality analysis of final product in plant tanks.
* Carry out quality analysis of product during shipping and making the analysis report available to responsible production / marketing personnel on time Timely and professionally respond to customer requests (operations, maintenance, technical and RC departments).
*Performing corrective and preventive maintenance of modern analytical equipment.
*Identifying and troubleshooting problems of complex lab instrument hardware or analytical methods where appropriate and also software problems and changes for method development. *Maintain and populate the data base for analysis results generated during shift and making it available in required format for all stakeholders.
*Manage and optimizing laboratory inventory of chemicals, gases, glass & plastic items, instrument spares, consumables, etc required for laboratory routine and long term operations.
*Continually improve the existing methods and identify interference and reduce analysis time. *Execute lab instruments calibrations and validations schedules according to Laboratory Quality Manual.
*On job training for the lab specialists on routine analysis and calibration of all analytical methods. *Contribute for establish and maintain QHSE behavior and culture within EMethanex with respect to its own guidelines, procedures, manuals and standard.
*Well organize with safe work attitude, performs the housekeeping tasks in the laboratory to eliminate safety hazards and maintain a clean working environment.
*Have a strong commitment to use the Personnel Protection Elements (PPE’s) in the different areas of the plant and inside the Laboratory.
*Have a strong knowledge in the Plant Basic Safety Rules and General Plant Safety Procedures.
*Have a strong knowledge in the risk associated with the handling of chemicals
*Have a strong knowledge all the Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals used in the routine Laboratory and plant operation activities
*Complete Awareness of IMS (Incident Management System)
*Testing of the raw materials & all polymerization steps using modern procedures, under consultation of professional ( EXLAN - Japan ).
*Following all chemicals & reagents stock & requirements. Water analysis for WTP & ETP (COD, BOD, Turbidity, Conductivity, Hardness, Iron, Phosphate, .... etc ).
*Responsibility of applying 5-S system in the Quality Control.
*Preparation of all Quality Control Documents according to ISO requirement.
*Following Customer Technical Complains, & Action Taken.
*Plotting a Charts for Technical Defect Opportunities & the Customer Complain Rectification
*Responsible for R&R Validation System (Repeatability & Reproducibility).
*Responsibility of making the Abnormality Identification & Rectification Report.
*Using The SQC principle for data analysis in The Quality Control using JUSE System
*Responsible for applying the SOP’s in the Quality Control (Standard Operating Procedures).
*ISO 9001 / 2000 - 14001 - 18001/2000 Coordination Responsibility, starting from Preparing of Work Instructions, Procedures, Inspection Plan, Formats, Communication Matrix, Objectives Chart, Competence Matrix, AIA (Aspect Impact Analysis), GRA (Group Risk Assessment).
*Create methods for analysis of the products using modern procedures.
*Validation for all methods ( Linearity, Precision, Accuracy, Ruggedness,
Stander addition method ).
*Following all chemicals & reagents stock & requirements.
*Calibration and maintenance of the analytical instruments
*Preparation & Factorization of monthly reagent plan. *Using SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
