Job Details:
1. Council of Ministers:
 Preparing new project laws and presenting it to the council in Arabic language.
 Amending provisions of the current labor laws and presenting the draft to the council.
 Amending the departments’ duties and responsibilities within the ministry's structure in coordination with the concerned departments and presenting the final structure for the council's approval.
2. Minister of Labor:
- Internal Affairs:
 Providing legal advice concerning the internal regular issues.
 Drafting legal correspondences with outside parties.
- International Affairs:
 Preparing legal agreements to be signed with foreign countries.
 Reviewing the International Legal Organization (ILO) agreements and providing the legal advice to the minister.
3. Companies operating under the legal law:
Providing Legal advice within the labor law and ministerial resolutions implementation.
4. Other departments within the Ministry of Labor:
- Labor Relations Department:
 Member of the labor disputes settlements committee; screening complains and settling the disputes.
- Labor Inspection Department:
 Reviewing corporate violations report to the labor law, presented by the inspectors and referral the report to the public prosecution.
5. Internal in-house legal training:
In house legal trainer for new hired inspectors (Judicial officers appointed by the public prosecutor).
6. Cases and Investigations department:
- Following-up on legal disputes to which the ministry is a party - In coordination with state lawsuits department at the Ministry of Justice.
- Responsible for performing administrative investigations with the employees who committed violations, then preparing a memo summarizing the investigations results incorporating the legal view to be presented to the minister.
- Follow-up on the workers disputes statuses, that have been transferred to the court.
- Review corporate inspections violations reports that have been issued by labor inspection department, then transfer the reports to the concerned police station.
- Penalties executions; follow up on the employees working within the Ministry of Labor.
7. Other:
- Developed a legal instructions directory for the labor inspectors.
