Duties summary
• To define project / project area needs for cost control in accordance with company procedures and client contractual requirements.
• To supervise the competent performance of cost control activities and timely issue of reports.
• To define project / project area needs for schedule development, maintenance and monitoring in accordance with company procedures and client contract requirements.

• Owner/Client Name : ERC / Worley parsons (PMC)
• Project Brief : Upgrading the existing Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) refinery at Mostorod, Egypt.
• Project Start/Finish Date : 15th August 2007 - 18th February 2017
• To define project / project area needs for cost control in accordance with company procedures and client contractual requirements.
• To supervise the competent performance of cost control activities and timely issue of reports.
• To define project / project area needs for schedule development, maintenance and monitoring in accordance with company procedures and client contract requirements.
• To supervise the competent performance of schedule development, maintenance, monitoring and analysis activities and timely issue of reports.
• To prepare, coordinate and supervise cost and scheduling presentations to company and client management as required.
• To supervise and be responsible for the development and accuracy of cost and schedule reports. To verify consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility.

• Collating inputs from Engineering, procurement and construction discipline to update the progress measurement system and the project schedule (Primavera) on weekly / monthly basis.
• Prepare the S-Curves, histograms (manpower) at project stage and as required even at proposal stages.
• Review all the contract documentation to ensure adequate completion of the overall requirements.
• Track progress against the detailed project plan and identify issues for resolution.
• Review all schedules, variation and cost reports for adequacy and prepare weekly / monthly project report.
• Timely presentation of progress status and any critical issues or delays to the project management team will prevent unnecessary delays which would otherwise impact the cost and client satisfaction on a large scale.
• Study and understand the project plan and the client requirements including equipment to be used, specifications and procurement plan.
• Plan the construction activities along with the construction manager as well as the various discipline engineers in line with the project plan.
• Instruct the contractors and the subcontractors on the project requirements and share the project plan with them.
• On completion of each phase of construction, inspect and insure it's in line with the client's requirements.
• Coordinate with the QC supervisor / inspector for inspection of construction and generate punch lists with items that need to be corrected.
• Generate reports on a daily and weekly basis on the status of the project with regards to civil.
