Management and control of all procurement related activities ■ Review of Drawings, Specifications, Tender stage Correspondence and Employer agreement ■ Preparation of procurement schedule ■ Preparation of Tender Packages including development of specialized terms and conditions, contract award criteria etc ■ Market survey and selection of capable Suppliers and Sub Contractors ■ Issue International, regional and local Tenders ■ Tender Administration ■ Preparation & review of Techno-commercial bid analysis / comparative statements ■ Negotiate and finalize contract in line with the project plan, specifications and budgetary constraints ■ Research market periodically to determine trends, material/services prices and availability of other suitable supplier /subcontractors ■ Prepare and review periodic reports, viz procurement status, material submittal status to monitor timely and effective procurement process ■ Evaluation and settlement of post contract variations in coordination with site team, issuance of Change Orders-Coordination with site teams for other Commercial / Technical issues ■ Supporting Tendering / Estimation in the RFQ process.
MAJOR PROJECTS INDEPENDENTLY HANDLED: World Trade Centre (erstwhile Central Market) Abu Dhabi which includes a Residential Tower of 88 Floors, an Office Tower 66 Floors, a Large scale Retail Shopping Mall, a 4 * Hotel (www.centralmarket.ae) Value : approx AED5 Billion ■ Pentominium Tower (Tallest residential tower in the world once completed www.pentominium.com, put on hold due to recession) ■ Jabal Omar Development Phase 3 (a 5* Hotel, a 4* Hotel and two retail podiums) facing Holy Haram in Makkah-KSA ■ Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Masjid (Al Ain Grand Mosque) in Al Ain, second largest mosque in UAE after the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque.

PROCUREMENT: Preparation of monthly procurement schedule in coordination with concerned site engineers ■ Floating tenders for sub-contracts / services and various construction materials for Civil, MEP, Fire Protection & Fire Alarm System, Interior Fitout ■ Techno-commercial comparison of prices after receipt of quotes from different vendors ■ Negotiating prices with the vendors and finalization of Purchase Orders or sub-contract agreements ■ Follow-up deliveries in coordination with central stores ■ Coordination with user departments, follow-up with vendors for quality conscious, timely delivery and dispatch to various sites ■ Processing delivery orders and material receipt vouchers in accordance with purchase orders ■ Vendor management and development of supplier base ■ Interaction with cross-functional teams.
ADMINISTRATION: Processing and responding to all incoming and outgoing correspondence related to Employer and Suppliers and Sub-contractors ■ Preparation of Quotations & follow-up of the same ■ Maintaining project-wise & Administration Filing system ■ Coordination with corporate office for administration & personal dept. matters ■ Monitoring and scheduling account payables in coordination with Accounts Dept. as per purchase terms ■ Deployment and maintenance of company vehicle fleet ■ Preparation of monthly management reports in coordination with Accounts dept ■ Handling all Personal dept. matters in coordination with Corporate office ■ Additional role of Executive Assistant to General Manager.
Diploma Qualification achieved, progressing towards MCIPS qualification.
