The Project Manager is the person responsible for managing the project. •Managing and leading the project team. • Recruiting project staff and consultants. • Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work. • Detailed project planning and control including: • Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan. • Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan. • Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary. • Resolving cross-functional issues at project level. • Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary. • Monitoring project progress and performance. • Providing status reports to the project sponsor. • Managing project training within the defined budget. • Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management. • Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities. • Managing consultancy input within the defined budget. • Final approval of the design specification. • Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs. • Definition and management of the User Acceptance Testing programme. • Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programmes. • Providing regular status reports to the IPSC Programme Board.

Key Responsibilities :
• Defining project objectives and plans, including delineation of scope, budgeting, performance requirements and detailed planning schedule.
• Creating project implementation plans, project schedules and assigning tasks to team members for on-time delivery of client deliverables. Ensuring accurate estimates are prepared/ provided for maintenance, enhancement and development works.
• Providing updates/ adjustments to project plan as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project within the specified budgetary guidelines and quality standards.
• Identified project goals and scope, including associated risks and developing a structural approach to complete the projects in the allotted time.
• Maintaining close relations with clients and assuring client priorities are followed, implementing process modifications and solicited referrals through superior client management.
• Ensuring optimal usage of all resources as per schedule and within budgeted overheads. Enforcing budgetary guidelines and efficiently organizing project utilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Allocating work to the site engineers, foremen, subcontractors in accordance with specialized technical requirements and ensured that all the operational requirements are adhered to.
• Fostering clear channels of communication between contractors and subcontractors and monitoring all activities are conducted in line with organizational policies.
• Providing daily progress reports to the senior manager and attending meetings with the staff and project stakeholders aimed at improving work performance.

Key Responsibilities :
• Assisted the site engineer in supervising the site labor force and the work of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of the project. Monitored and coordinated overall work plan for all ongoing projects to ensure work is assigned and completed on time without compromising on quality.
• Managed the blocks and plaster works, thereby executed the site activities from mobilization to handing over stage and issued the final project completion certificate to the main contractor.
• Conducted site meetings to evaluate site progress, thereby ensured on-site project execution is in accordance with plans, special provisions, standards and estimates.
• Scrutinized subcontractors/suppliers proposals, samples and shop drawings to sustain quality standards and eliminate problems, suggested improvements and escalated unresolved issues to the Project Manager for timely solutions.
• Coordinated with Senior Site Engineer for appraising quality standards, safety measures on the site and ensured that all operational regulations are adhered to.
• Prepared and maintained weekly/ monthly status reports of projects, expenditure statements, budgets, submittals and approvals with respect to architect plan and project requirements.
