Prepare the Basis for Design and the Scope of work - Specifications, Design codes, Design criteria, Standards, basis for Data collection report, Stakeholder’s requirements, TOR, and further preparation of the monthly reports.
Managing Design process on day to day basis and delivery in line with planned timelines defined quality and approved budgets.
Coordinate with the disciplines heads (Architects, Mechanical, electrical & infra) for completing the scope of work and fulfilling the project’s deliverable.
Manage projects activities including all on site related construction. And Monitor the contractor's progress.
Monitor project baseline program and work progress including milestone dates. And control the scope of work.
Understand completely all design documentation, drawings, specifications, contract terms and conditions and all other special requirements related to the project.
Liaison with the main contractors & Monitor the performance of the Contract and Contractors, to ensure the building and associated works are completed to the scope of the services, contractual obligations, standards, specified quality, cost and program.
Continuous visits to project site for monitoring of site activities in respect of quality, safety and progress and advise manager representatives of findings, area of concern and corrective actions.
Multi-disciplinary experience. Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling.

Convene, and chair design coordination and presentation meetings / workshops, progress meetings and acting as liaison between specialists consultants and in-house / stakeholders and other engineering consultants.
Emphasis on Value Engineering studies and Streamlines the construction processes.
- To provide Engineering / Technical / Design Support and complete tasks allocated to each project and bidding teams.
- To lead a team of Technical Office Engineers, Design Coordinators, Quantity Surveying Engineers, Material Engineers to review the project’s design drawings, in order to implement the shop drawing designs, quantity surveying systems and material management systems and procedures.
- Following up the construction procedure on the sites and make sure that it is going on in the right way structurally.
- Involved in all the assigned projects from the design stage through to the execution stages till the Taking-Over Certificate obtained.
- To Represent the company in the technical / engineering discussions with the external parties.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct the staff and activities concerned with the technical office department.
- Manage/supervise the technical office team in performing delegated tasks.
- Attend the periodical progress meetings for the sites and Give sites backup / advice / technical support.
- Alternative Proposals & Lead Value Management and Value Engineering exercises.
- Ensure adherence to technical office policies and procedures through continuous review to the project contracts, terms and conditions, time schedule, review of design drawings and owner/consultant’s bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Coordinate all technical matters between engineering, construction, procurement and subcontractors in order to solve any potential problems.
- Follow up /Review the project designs with consultant in order to prepare project shop drawing to highlight any deviation with the code/standards.
- Coordinate with Site Managers to set an effective work procedure, work priorities and suitable resources allocation.
- Set/Follow up with project consultant the effective cycle of approvals for shop drawing and Material submittals.
As a manager for the design department:
• Following up the construction procedure in the site and be sure that it is going in the right way structurally
• Preparing all the Technical structural drawing required for construction through a team of draughtsman and junior structural engineer.
• Attending all the internal management meeting for the sites to discuss any related issues for the structural work.
• Attending all the progress meeting with the client
• Prepare the different method statement required for the construction
• Check the structural design for the tender drawing.
• Proposed a structural design with a value engineering
Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Prepare the structural design calculations for all the concrete buildings using analysis computer programs.
2- Review (design/drawings) together with contract documents, specifications and applicable codes
3- Design alternative systems for cost saving.
4- Preparation of structural workshop drawings
5- Co-ordination between (M.E.P, Arch) works and the structural works
6- Raising RFIs for all the discrepancies.
7- Preparation of method statement for the construction stages.
Design Engineer:
Designing a number of villas, (traditional, administration and multi-storey) Buildings including the seismic and wind analysis of multi-stores buildings
Designing a hotel (4 stars) consisting of three major buildings and a shopping mall in Sharm el-sheikh
Designing retaining walls with height up to (10 meters)
Designing a Mosque of capacity (3000 prayers).

Supervising the construction of :
o 5 villas (basement + ground + 2 floors)
o Administrative concrete building - 10 floors.
o Traditional concrete building - 13 floors.
o Mosque - capacity of 3000 prayers.
