Based on a set schedule, the internship in the Exeed Geotextile Factory provided knowledge about factory operations from an electrical engineer perspective. The internship involved learning SCADA, programming industrial inverters, PLC and hardware overview of electronic panels and machine systems. The training was concluded by presenting a proposal to improving or advancing the operation of the factory.

Choice of components, assembly of components, programming the processor and testing the system were all done by a four members work team. (2013-2014) • Traffic Monitoring Alert System: Worked on designing, simulating and demonstrating a prototype of a traffic monitoring for 3 bridges that notifies the user of any jam, congestion or major slowdown. (Fall 2013) • Guided Vehicle System Project: Worked in a team of 4 members to design a rorbot car that successfully walks in any tracks without leaving it avoiding any obstacles. (Spring 2013) • Digital Signal Processing for Image and Sound Editing: Using Matlab to implement image adjusting filters as well as echo and reverberation effect on sound clips. (Spring 2013) • Vending Machine Prototype: Programming a microcontroller to the logic of a vending machine and testing its operation using HCS12 processor.
