Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account of the
perishable or hazardous nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security;
* Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs;
* Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance
requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and
fiscal regimes;
* Arranging payment of freight invoices and other charges or collection of payment on behalf
of the client;
* Utilizing e-commerce, internet technology and satellite systems to enable real-time tracking
of goods;
* Dealing with special arrangements for transporting delicate cargoes, such as livestock, food
and medical supplies.

Coordinates specification preparation, and secures bids/proposals;
* Negotiates contracts, prices, terms and makes awards;
* Advises user department representatives on purchase methods and alternate products and
may recommend substitutes and resolve discrepancies and invoice problems;

* Originates purchase orders;
* Perform cost and price analysis;
* Develops, maintains bidders' lists and selects most suitable suppliers based on Aquatop for
Trade & Distribution budget and standards.

Imports” and managing delivery time;
* Preparation of Bank Transactions: “Payments Due Wire transfers- Letter of credit- Bank
Settlements- Forum 4 - Customs Checks Release;
* Establishing Contracts;
* Communication with Suppliers;
* After Purchase activities: Payment settlements, Managing Stocks, Matching documents, etc.
