Highlights
•Employee Relations - Prepare & issue of show cause notices, charge-sheets, warning letters and conduct internal enquiries. Omani Employee Grievance Handling. SPOC for all Omani Branch-in-Charge’s.
•Recruitment & Selection - liaison with consultants/publications/job portals for sourcing of candidates and Draft Advertisements and submit for publication. Developed a databank of suitable candidates and maintains network of contacts to source suitable candidates.
•Training & Development - Worked closely with Khimji Training Institute to execute Trainee programme as part of Fairtrade Omanization Plan.
•Public Relations - Develop and maintain good relations with all Ministries & Public Authorities like, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Royal Oman Police (ROP), Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), Municipality, Directorate General of Standards & Metrology (DGSM), Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MOCI), Agriculture etc.
•Performance Appraisals - Coordinate with Department Heads for timely completion of Performance Appraisals
•Assist Imports Manager sharing specialist skills in Customs Clearing.
•Attend meetings at Ministry of Manpower representing Fairtrade as a Employer.
•Worked with Head - Talent Management, Business Head and Sales Development Manager on General Manager’s instruction to improve Merchandiser productivity and tracking.
Joined Fairtrade in HR team reporting to Business Operations Manager.
Highlights
•Helped building up Omani contact points at all Fairtrade Branch locations by visiting branches regularly and training selected Omani employees.
•Designed Omanisation plan for Fairtrade and secured Visa clearances as required by Fairtrade Management to achieve strategic plans for the year 2015.
•Visited all Sales Office & Warehouse locations at least once every two months for ensuring policy and process compliance.
•Ensure all Personnel Files and Company records are updated and maintained accurately and regularly
