Responsibilities during the production season (six months):

* Operating all milling units, from the sugarcane truck unloading system to the last mill in the unit.

* Adjusting feed speeds to achieve the desired quantity and quality of juice and bagasse.

* Managing the workforce during shifts (more than 60 people).

* Ensuring safety precautions are followed during unit startup and shutdown to guarantee the safety of machinery and personnel.

* Ensuring a regular feed to the mills in coordination with other departments such as sugarcane transport, boilers, and production operations.

* Performing all routine maintenance during the periodic shutdown.

Responsibilities during off crop (six-months)

* Leading maintenance teams to dismantle, repair, and reassemble all mill components, e.g., (cane truck unloading system, cutting knives, conveyor belts, steam turbines, gearboxes, pumps, etc.).

* Preparing and submitting a list of required spare parts.

* Monitoring the quantity of spare parts available in the warehouse and dispensing them as needed.
