Power System Engineer.
• Taking lead of the GB Transmission and Analysis Day Ahead process.
• Provide the control room with the Day-Ahead Transmission Outage Plan and deliverables.
• Managing Regional planning engineers, Demand Forecasting teams for Control input to produce a viable and secure Day Ahead plan.
• Provide a system management plan and Post fault actions.
• Conduct power system analysis and provide an optimisation plan.
• Liaison with relevant stakeholders to ensure success of Day-Ahead process. Facilitate efficient and economic access to the dynamic transmission system outages plans without compromising quality and security of supply.

This is a specialist course on all aspects of overhead line craftsmanship offered under the supervision of Directorate of industrial training. The course teaches all aspects of construction and erection of power lines up to 132 Kv. followed by one year hands on industrial attachment.
