Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible to train, develop and manage the merchandising team to ensure the flawless execution of the company`s objectives.
• Regularly update outlets list and merchandising details.
• Track coverages, identify opportunities and take corrective actions when deemed appropriate.
• Monitoring of JP adherence of the merchandisers.
• To forecast and submit POSM requirements.
• To ensure products availability and visibility in all outlets covered as per company`s guide lines and follow up NPD’s and trade activities.
• Competitor activity report
• Ensure timely incentivizing of the merchandisers.
• Daily store visits.
• Build a strong corporate relationship with key store contacts.
• Recruitment, engagement and development of team.
• Ensuring complete alignment and integration with Trade Marketing and Marketing team.
• Conduct monthly meetings with all team.
• Management planning and flawless execution, while ensuring complete alignment and integration between Trade Marketing & Sales.
• Develop and give special attention to the distribution channels and marketing.
• Measure the ROI of promotions and activities applicable to the trade.
• Monitoring market indicators (Share of Space, Market Share, Numerical Distribution, Weighted Distribution, etc).
• Measure and predict customer profitability.
• Strategic Planning Customer.
• Have contact with the customer at the point of purchase and analyze their movements.
• Develop new pieces of POP execution.
• Adequately manage inventories, stocks of Merchandising, offers and promotions.
• Development categories and category management implementations.
• Provide relevant trade marketing tools for the sales force, prioritization of activities between and within priority channels.
• Implement Trade Marketing and Marketing plans in the region, ensure effective activation and evaluation of the resources allocated by processes of analysis, to detect and capitalize business opportunities.
• Measure and control the allocated budget.
• Train Sales staff, Merchandisers and Distributors Staff about Nestle brands, products and Trade Marketing Strategies.
• Accountable for the achievement of the territory sales volumes by category in the assigned area.
• Achieve the set coverage, core distribution and Trade Marketing targets in the assigned area.
• Communicate new products and services opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate channel manager.
• Follow up with stores in the assigned area to ensure availability of products.
• Identify and resolve if there are problems with stock shelf.
• Ensure shelf and warehouse stocks are correctly audited, rotated and the short expiry issues are properly handled in line with company policy.
• Manage accounts through quality checks and follow ups.
• Ensure collection is made in line with company set payment terms.
• Submit and maintain proper customer records, sales activities and other required reports and forms.
• Develop proper relations and rapport with customers and account staff.
• Work in accordance with the predetermined call plan.
• Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade.
• Ensure compliance of Trade marketing activities, as well as to monitor them.
• Ensure the implementation of continuous quality service that meets customer requirements, through control, monitoring and supervision of all functions of the staff in charge.
• Conduct weekly meetings with supervisors in charge, to verify the alignment of the staff with customer and company objectives.
• Coordinate, lead and participate in regular meetings with the costumer and operating staff.
• Ensure that vacancies are covered with qualified personnel and recruiting personnel to fill them.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations of staff in charge.
• Ensuring complete alignment and integration between clients (Trade Marketing Specialist, Sales staff and Region Manager) and Promoting staff.
• Leading, control and follow up all operational staff, in order to ensure service that meets the client needs.
• Evaluate daily service at the point of purchase, through the fulfillment of the week planning, and visit steps of the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with the sales fundamentals on merchandising service and strategies established by client´s Trade Marketing Specialist.
• Timely reporting of service alerts.
• Ensure the staff in charge complies with the regulations and procedures of the company and also is properly trained to carry out an excellent service execution.
• Ensure compliance of service at the point of purchase (share of Space, Pricing, Planograma and Trade Marketing Activities) within assigned area.
