He makes sure that the construction contractor’s schedules are created by the whole construction team, everyone involved in the project Lusail Multi-Purpose Hall should have input into the development and evolution of the project plan.
• Workshops with the contractor as required in order setting a more realistic programme.
• Collate the thoughts of the construction team into agreed coherent.
• Site walks together with the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC - Client) every Wednesday to check on open work fronts, identify resources available, and accumulate action proposed from all attendees
• Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverable such as engineering, procurement, fabrication status and construction of all discipline.
• Review contractor's application for payment.
• Reports and analyses deviations from plan (baseline, mitigation and integrated plan).
• Contractor’s performance assessment.
• Claim management services.
• Participate all meeting (i.e. schedule review meeting, progress meeting, executive meeting, procurement meeting, project control meeting, and constructability review meeting and so on).
Hermes has joined CTBH in the UAE as a Consultant. He is responsible for providing specialist project planning and time management services to clients in the UAE. Hermes ensures that the site level planning and programming are managed and integrated. Hermes is able to work well with site teams particularly with cost planners and site managers.
With ConfluenceTBH, Hermes has worked on a number projects, most significantly, the Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi Sowwah Island. On this project, Hermes performed the following:
• Implemented a project control and reporting system that adopted by the client; construction site teams, consultants and stakeholder teams have been influenced by the project reporting system.
• Assisting the installation managers on the method statements as required.
• Monitoring progress and deriving valuation applications based on the cost loaded programme.
• Showed great character in working and meeting Client expectations in a difficult environment due to the time constraint set by Client particularly with the cost loading exercises.
• Established an early warning system and procedures that flag critical and near critical works and proposed mitigation measures.

As a senior planning engineer with Aswar Engineering and Contracting Company, Hermes key duties includes; master programme scheduling, work packaging strategy & planning implementation for the same, monitoring the projects progress and preparing tender submittal schedule, programme set-up and change control, progress curve, cash flow curve and reporting to Project director/managers, client & head office in various formats, recovery/revision programmes, contractors programme review and monitoring and expedite deliverables with minimum risks impact, forensic planning and delay analysis and delay mitigation for the same.
During his time with Aswar, Hermes has worked on below projects;

Hermes worked as a part of planning team of Al Futtaim Group Real Estate and was involved in the construction of in zone, sitewide and marine infrastructure works. His role included programme monitoring for the Client; perform independent analysis & collaborative assessment by the infrastructure planning department and work together with the project team, review and discuss comments in conjunction with the key events, progress of works, areas of concern and actions to address the problem, maintain up-to-date information relevant to progress & performance, preparation and issue of general summary reports (monthly) to CEO.

Hermes was involved in the construction of farm to market road and public school buildings for Department of Public Works and Highways Region 3 fulfilling the functions of planning engineer. His role included, field supervision, liaise with the municipal engineer and consultant concerning the project schedule and execution plan.
During his time with Department of Public Works and Highways, Hermes has worked on below projects;
• Public School, Luzon Philippines
Hermes worked as a quantity surveyor and civil works programmer with Asian Construction and Development Corporation. His role included, structural estimates, prepare civil work schedules, manpower, equipment & material requirements.
• Sports Complex and Establishments, Clark Philippines
Hermes worked as a steel detailer for O.C. Fuertez. His role included; drafting, structural beam computations and estimates
