Main activities and responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the projects; including:
Preparation of Instruction To Bidders (ITB) documents,
Bid supervising and evaluation of Offers,
Negotiation Stage with international firms,
Basic design and FEED Review, HAZOP Study; SIL and Safety Studies,
QA&QC, Pre-Inspection Meetings, Construction Supervising, FAT & SAT Tests,
Instrumentation selection and specification; design/review/installation of Distributed Control System (DCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Vibration Monitoring System for the plants. Loop tests and functional tests of instrumentation and control systems.
Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up activities,
Telecomm infrastructure contracts supervisor,
Development of software tools for management and controlling of Project’s Documentation

Responsible for the engineering, design and integration of a microwave wireless system for the communication and monitoring of remote valve stations along a 100-km Diluted Oil pipeline between Upstream and Downstream Facilities in Venezuelan Crude Oil Belt (HAMACA Project).
