Managing the overall Laundry group in Cairo plant which is one of the biggest and toughest operations in P&G globally due to the changing market dynamics. Responsible for managing FTE count of ~ 300 FTE to deliver best cost, cash and service while delivering best in class initiatives.
Managing one of the biggest Laundry packaging departments in P&G globally with total FTE count of 230 to deliver best cost, cash & service.
• Managing a department of 180+ Employees with different backgrounds (managers / staff & Technicians).
• Leading the Department to deliver benchmark and all time records in results by providing the proper direction setting and applying systems with rigor.
• tLead department in starting up 3 major projects, Line speed-ups, and delivering projects on time and with outstanding results.
• Owning the department budget planning and control and delivering benchmark results in FY11/12 in manufacturing costs (Planned Controlled).
• Owning/developing the loss elimination/productivity plans and delivering outstanding results Vs. Target.
• Owning Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication system across the plant to deliver outstanding stops reduction through-out this fiscal year.
• Delivering outstanding reliability results and total stops across all lines.
• Develop and Review 100% of organization work plans.
• Owning succession planning and staffing in the department and utilize this tool to setup the organization to best deliver the desired business & organizational results.
• Managing a team of 200+ employees to deliver outstanding business results and best in class service.
• Winning the regional award as best DC across CEMEA Sep-11.
• Delivering saving projects through utilizing truck container loads and vehicle fill rate.
• Re-design of the storage strategy to drive non-value added work out, deliver savings and outstanding operational results.
• Coordinating with planning on daily basis the shuttling plans to deliver all time record shipments per day (190 outbound trucks and 70 in bound trucks in Dec 11).
• Managing crisis during Egyptian revolution and re-designing the storage strategy as well as managing resources to deliver targets despite unrest.
• Lead the startup of the in plant Customization Center project delivering a saving of about 1 Million EGP.
• Developed & owns new planning and study tools across the plant for effective usage of resources.
• Own the planning of WH budget for FY1011.
• Worked on several large scale projects including:
• IT&T building, Jebel Ali Airport City, Dubai.
• International Airport in Luanda, Dias, Senegal.
• Participated in designing chilled water systems, fire fighting systems, and plumbing systems.

• Coordination with different departments regarding the mechanical requirements.
• Preparation of design files and documentations of different mechanical projects.
