The towing fleet I managed in the Idku operation consisted of four tugs and three mooring boats. An additional two ASD tugs are involved in the Port Said operation.

Training and Recruitment
Shipboard Employee Management Overview
• Appraisal and training of shipboard employees.

The PSVs fleet I managed in the Soyo operation consisted of fifteen PSVs (DSV and MPSV) and five crew boats (surfers). All vessels were chartered by ExxonMobil - Block15
In terms of operation
Operation
I was participating with the contract manager in the following:
• Manages and oversees the operation of the fleet
• Procures supplies to maintain ships and shore facilities stocked with inventory components, consumable and non-consumable supply items.
• Ensuring that services are provided in accordance with contracts and agreements can help to manage the contractual relationships with ExxonMobil.
In terms of HSEQ
Monitoring, Auditing
• Company rules, procedures, and international regulations (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, MLC, and ISO)
• Oversee the implementation of company’s QHSSE policies and procedures within the division, always maintaining compliance, audits, and NCs follow-up.
• Conduct offshore visits and site inspections of vessels to observe work conditions and relationships with platforms and rigs.
Training
• Managing staff certifications, education, training logs, and other records to make sure they are up to date with operational and legal requirements. Being aware of the skills and knowledge needed to run activities skillfully and safely
• Mentoring and coaching crew members, as appropriate, to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.
• Ensure that all captains and crew and have attended/refreshed statutory training requirement as necessary
Hazard identification and incident investigation
• Detect and assist council personnel in the observation of any unsafe act or action during the walkthrough onboard.
• Treat and follow-up on all Hazard, Near-Miss, and Event reports issued by the vessels.
• Check that incident reporting is well performed as per company and customer expectations.
• Lead or participate in the investigation team to identify RCA after an incident or serious near-miss.
• Propose to company senior management and customer-related improvement actions after investigation.
The towing fleet I managed in the Soyo operation consisted of five tugs and six boats (three mooring boats, a pilot boat, and a pollution-preventing and security boat).
HSSEQ / DPA
• Implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring ongoing improvement
• Ensure that the Company Safety and Environmental Protection Policy is correctly understood and implemented by all parties
• Organizing and overseeing internal audits, as well as ensuring the independence of and training internal auditors
• Reviewing All Reports of Non-Conformities, Hazardous Situations or Accidents Received from the Various Vessels Operating the SMS
Training
• As the majority of the crew was local with very shallow experience with LNG, and the project was new and just begin, therefore, I was in charge of the intensive training program `Svitzer LNG Familiarization Course` which contains several topics such as a briefing about natural gas formation, the theory of liquefying the gas, types of LNG carriers, spherical or membrane, and emergency procedures, including first aid.
• Conduct onboard training for officers, masters, and crew as per Svitzer's SMS.
• I was in charge of instructing and leading the mooring team in safe jetty movement, safe handling of all LNG carrier mooring lines, and visual inspection and testing of all jetty mooring gear, including mooring hooks, winches, capstans, ropes, and lifting equipment.
• My task is to command and operate the ASD tug (5000 HP, 60-ton bollard pull) safely and cost-effectively to assist the LNG carrier in mooring /unmooring operation.
• To be as safety/Firefighting boat as long the loading operation is in progress
• Assisting in jetty/buoys and breakwater maintenance program
• I was responsible for the seaworthiness of the tug, ensuring that the tug and her crew conform to all company, International, Flag State, and Classification Society regulations, and ensuring that there is a smooth operational relationship with all clients.
• Report to the HSE Manager any matters which could be detrimental to the Safety of the tug, crew, or Company property, ensure that all paperwork about accounts, Safety, operations, and team were completed satisfactorily and, where applicable, filed or dispatched to head office in time
• My experience as Ch. Mate onboard PSVs drilling, production, and seismic support
• I was responsible for performing vessel navigation within the oil fields; cargo operation includes loading and unloading bulk cargo (OBM, MGO, and Methanol transfer).
• I was in charge of maintenance of cargo gears and ship's hull and accommodation
• All the lifesaving and firefighting appliances of the vessel come under my responsibility to make sure all the crew members comply with the latest rules of MARPOL, SOLAS, ISPS, STCW and act as SSO- ship security officers.
• My experience was as bunker barge captain.
• My responsibilities were to command and operate the barge (500 T) safely and cost-effectively.
• I was responsible for the barge's seaworthiness, ensuring that the barge and her crew conform to all Company, International, Flag State, and Classification Society regulations, and providing a smooth operational relationship with all clients. The working area was at Valetta port territory, including the anchorage area and Gozo Island area.
• My experience was on board containers and general cargo vessels.I was responsible for performing vessel navigation; cargo operation includes loading, unloading, cargo planning, and stability.
• I was in charge of the maintenance of cargo gears and the ship's hull and accommodation.
• All the lifesaving and firefighting appliances of the vessel come under my responsibility to make sure all the crew members comply with the latest rules of MARPOL, SOLAS, ISPS, STCW, and act as SSO- ship security officers.
• My experience was on board A4 containers vessels (3820 TEUS, 47000 HP, 48154 Tons)
• I was as Navigation Officer, responsible for safe route planning, maintaining charts and publications, and the caretaking of the bridge and bridge equipment.
• Watch Duty, perform bridge navigation and handle the vessel in docking and anchoring as directed by the captain. Safety and Security, participate in onboard safety training, meetings, and drills, as directed by the captain, including fire, abandon ship, man overboard, flooding, medical emergencies, and Emergency Response Activities including the Small Boat Operations
