• Grow company revenues by developing and localizing new parts and deep localizing current parts.
• Determine and select parts to be localized based on highest TdC (Cost Reduction) and local supplier capabilities.
• Calculate the feasibility study for the project and ensure highest revenue and TdC will be met.
• Establish milestone and objectives for each project.
• Create each project overall schedule from the initiation phase (Sourcing phase) till the closing phase (SOP).
• Create the detailed sub-schedules for each phase including responsibilities and targets.
• Conduct the P-PEC to calculate overall achievement for every project.
• Manage parts certification processes such as E-Mark & NDS (Nissan Design Specifications).
• Ensure parts are safe enough to be placed on racks and assembled in the vehicle without damaged.
• Implement Lean & Six-Sigma tools at supplier’s production line to reduce production cost.
• Improve cost reduction activity by continuous improvement activities at supplier side for reducing direct cost.
• Do re-sourcing activity for best quality & cost achievement.
• Supervise local suppliers for mold maintenance and repair according to TPM and maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for all plastic parts localization technicalities (Bumpers, Door trim, Instrumental panels & consoles) at Egypt site.
• Work closely with engineers to develop samples of parts for trials.
• Set the budget and insure project is completed within budget.
• Advice vendors on best practices and methods to correct issues of previous projects and lesson learned.
• Responsible for quality assurance processes and assuring implementation of NISSAN quality management system (ANPQP).
• Manage future and existing assigned parts, set objectives and report on performance.
• Work with product management team to ensure process is efficient.
• Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to execute product development plans.
• Leading a group of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
• Responsible for the modernization of outdated sites.
• Create the project overall schedule for every modernized site from the initiation (technical specs. agreement) till the closing (delivery for the customer).
• Making Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for all sites.
• Troubleshooting and supervise maintenance works of elevators and escalators.
• Carrying out scheduled routine inspection.
• Make sure that all sites are in highest safety level for users and technicians.
• Take customers concerns and works to improve service quality.
• Follow up spare parts level at inventory.
• Purchasing orders for unavailable and unique spare parts and tools.
• Leading a group of 25 technicians to perform all customer’s maintenance demands.
• Responsible for workshop working capacity and parts turnover.
• Ensure the workshop loading is done effectively.
• Ensure optimum level of productivity from the team by calculating actual operation cycle time VS. FRU guidelines.
• Establish and maintain high degree of discipline among the workforce.
• Make sure all equipment is kept in a safe working order.
• Keep service advisor informed by workshop capacity, i.e. utilization & lost time.
• Ensure that all required operations in the job card is done effectively and expended spare parts are matching operation requirements.
• Ensure that workshop objectives and targets Make sure there is a proper vehicle
• Flow through the workshop. Closely monitor & Control the amount of overtime.
• Handling customer issues.
• Test customer vehicles and identify technical concerns.
• Diagnose vehicles with launch x431 diagnostic tool to identify electrical issues.
• Repair car issues related to electrical problems like ECU and harnesses.
• Apply continuous improvement tools (Lean manufacturing tools like 5S, KOSU, SMED, …)
• Participate in process development activities for more effective process.
• Time study in the production process
• Analyzing and solving bottlenecks in production process
• Development of work instructions to facilitate the production process
• Work procedures updating based on client changes
• Balancing production lines
• Verify capacity of lines & calculating facilities needed for new projects
