Responsibilities:
As SIEMENS O&M Midelec is a nongovernmental (private) power plant constructed to act as un-interruptible power supply for MIDOR refinery, the availability of the units is the highest priority and this is achieved through:
Routine Check:
Plan, supervise and perform the daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual checks for the various systems in the power plant to ensure the availability of the unit
Corrective Maintenance:
Troubleshooting the daily faults and alarms and perform the necessary simulations in order to work online without interruption the plant availability and study the necessary permanent modification
Minor/Major Inspection:
Supervise & participate in the isolation and dismantling of the instruments for calibration and perform the required calibration process for all instruments
Perform the DCS maintenance
Execute the required I&C hardware & software modifications
Perform the testing and system commissioning for start-up
Spare Parts Administration:
Responsible for the I&C section planning, the spare parts administration using SIEMENS BFS++ Asset Management software

▪ Baby Turbine Feed Water Pump (BFWP) controlled by WOODWARD 505
▪ Gas Turbine SFC/SEE Control & maintenance.
