Assist Procurement Manager in Process of the organization procurement
procedures.
Preparing a projects' material procurement plan & continually updating
Procurement Log sheet.
Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service
needs
Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for
company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
Researches new products and services to meet company's goals
Assesses total costs of company purchases
Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing
goods or services and maintaining stock levels
Oversees a team of purchasing agents (in large companies)
Reports to the chief procurement officer.
Preparing comparison sheet for projects' material vendor’s quotations.
Handle negotiation with Suppliers, to meet our budget or target prices & to agree
on payment terms and conditions.
Preparing Contract agreements and or Letter of intent with vendors.
Managing & approving projects' purchase requisitions through ERP system.
Preparing Purchasing orders.
Manage material delivery schedule & Working closely with the warehouse team.
Job Description:
- Start with project’s technical documents study, drawings review and make BOQ breakdown.
- Preparation of procurement plan, procurement submittal schedule, extract material & resources
budge.
- Start sending RFQ & RFP for assigned vendors.
- Receive proposals, technical & commercial study then prepare comparison analysis sheet.
- Initiate meeting with vendors & manufacturers to comply technically and negotiate prices &
conditions.
- Project team meeting attendance, to follow up / update the progress.
- Protect all agreements by official contracts or letters of intents “LOI” with suppliers.
- Prepare submittals for the Consultant/Client approval.
- Reply and clarify Consultant/Client’s comments through reply letters or by holding meetings.
- Release PO to suppliers, arrange the payment methods.
- Follow material delivery to project site as per app
1- Technical study for all electrical works in the project.
2- Market study for the concerning suppliers in the different electrical business.
3- Offers study and doing comparison sheet regarding technical term and commercial term.
4- Prepare submittals for consultant approval in the different electrical work.
5- Handling project requirements regarding electrical scope.
6- Communicate with the recommended supplier to arrange for the required material.
7- Preparing the P.O & pushing on the supplier to deliver the material in time.
Project Design reviewing.
Redesign electrical drawings, preparing Panel schedule, SLD, lighting & Power
plans.
Preparing Material technical submittal (MTS).
