Setting reservoir management and surveillance plan for different fields
Carry out field performance and well performance analysis and select
candidates for water shut off with different techniques.
Conduct dynamic reservoir simulation to set field development plan, propose
new infill drilling plan and optimize water injection projects across fields.
Prepare Inputs for Annual reserves reports (ARR) and production plan.
Analyze Fluid and Rock properties including follow up on fluid sampling, RFT/MDT,
RCAL and SCAL program. Interpreting PVT (PVTsim, PVTi), core data (SCAL software),
well test analysis and preparing input for reservoir modeling.
Train and mentor national staff.
Increase GPC Western Desert fields Production from 3000 BBL/D to 19000 BBL/D.
Work as an integrated team member with Geo-scientists, drilling and production engineers to monitor field performance and optimize production.
Lead the development, maintenance and history matching of fit-for-purpose dynamic reservoir simulation models. Utilize classical reservoir engineering techniques such as material balance and decline curves as appropriate to support the model.
Assess opportunities for future infill wells, work-overs and near-field exploration targets and prepare well recommendations and field development plan.
Evaluate technically and economically new acquired concessions.
Develops rate forecasts, company production plan and reserve estimates.
Coaching new team members by giving them courses in different reservoir topics.
Performed reservoir management and surveillance for Bakr-Amer Oil field, which has been producing since 1960, and have more than 200 wells and 8 reservoirs (Clastic & Carbonate reservoirs).
Analyzed Fluid and Rock properties including follow up on fluid sampling, RCAL and SCAL program. Interpreting PVT, core data, and preparing input for reservoir modeling.
Evaluated gas injection project in carbonate reservoirs (injection rate, injection pressure, injector locations…. etc.).
Interpreted acquired well tests.
Used different techniques to predict reservoir performance (Material balance, decline curve analysis, reservoir simulation).
Conducted reservoir simulation model: Integrated reservoir study for Bakr-Amer-Al-Hamd fields (GPC - Schlumberger).
