Recruitment
• Follows the RI Turkey and RI Syria Recruitment Standard Operating Procedure.
• Participates on the staff planning meetings with hiring managers and HR Manager
• Advises and accompanies the hiring managers throughout all the steps of the recruitment process.
• Supports in the preparation of the TORs, making sure they are of high quality as well as ensuring RRFs are ready.
• Prepares and posts the vacancies in relevant websites and disseminates them among colleagues
• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
• Shortlists the candidates, in collaboration with the hiring manager
• Prepares 1 st and 2 nd round of interviews, as well as tests, in collaboration with hiring managers
• Arranges tests, corrects them, when applicable, and shares them with the hiring managers
• Checks professional references of candidates. Employee RI
• Prepares the recruitment recommendation memo and offer letter for newcomers both in RI Turkey and Syria.
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures.
• Actively participates in the further design and implementation of talent attraction with the RI HR Strategy.
• Participates in any other task as established by HR Manager
Employee Relations
• Ensure the follow up for the timely processing of new contract, contract extension, staff transfer, promotions and other change of status.
• Respond to employee related queries and provide services to all HR related inquiries and requests.
• Make sure that employees’ files are auditable at all times as per RI standards and any relevant donors’ requirements.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of HR and administration policies and procedures across the country program.
• Ensure the timely application for Work Permits of foreign staff, including their declaration to SGK
Performance Management
• Ensure all staff has undergone training on the new Performance Management System and that the evaluations are done in a timely and quality manner.
• Ensure line managers comply with the internal guidelines for promotions
Training
• Develop the capacities of HR staff on any HR-related aspects
• Coordinate with the HR Coordinator, HR Manager and the RI’s Training Director the creation and implementation of individual development plans.
• Organize, in coordination with the HR Coordinator, learning and development opportunities for staff to achieve their goals.
• In coordination with the HR Coordinator, conduct training needs analysis, and support staff in identifying suitable internal/external trainings.
• Encourage Managers to provide “power hour” training to their staff.
Participate in HR forums, including internal HR meetings, feedback to manage best practices, and HR trends in country and at the global level.
UNCTION: Manage recruitment for Asia, Middle East, and Syria crisis. Countries within my region are Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1-Recruitment and Selection of International Development positions within the Middle East, Asia and Syria crisis. Positions I recruit for include Country Director, Director for Communications, Protection, Advocacy Officer, Deputy Director for Operations/Programs, Reproductive Health Specialists (doctors, nurses, and midwives), etc.
Collaboration with internal and external partners. I work with our senior regional partners in the field such as the Regional Directors and Country Directors, as well as the internal HR teams within country.
2- Improvement of current recruitment best practices within region. Streamlining current practices, interview guides, selection tools, identifying resources and using other creative strategies to source and attract quality applicants.
Requirement analysis, Industry mapping.
Handling End to End recruitment for Engineering companies.
Sourcing, Screening & Shortlisting candidates from various job portals.
Creating, Updating & Maintaining Database
Preparing & Submitting Reports.
Clients’ interaction & coordination.
Marketing & Generating New Businesses :
- Cold calling - creating new business opportunities & fulfilling much process to gain new clients
- Following - up with the old clients.

- CV screening, candidate generation (advertising, networking, database searches, headhunting) sourcing, selection, inputting details of the recruitment process/clients into the database.
