• Registering patients, updating patient information, creating new files for first time patients using the SAP soft- ware.
• Checking insurance coverage in the facility and validity online, confirming if services are covered by the in- surance, before sending the patients to the doctor.
• Providing the necessary information inquired by the patient on the services provided, co-payments, and the best timings to book the appointments according to their pregnancy trimester.
• Following-up with the patients to provide the required documents to obtain prior authorizations.
• Scheduling appointments referred from Drs internally from the organization, as well as externally.
• Working as a team with the clinic to maintain the flow of the appointments.
• Assisting the nurse by providing required insurance approvals and following up with the insurance department
in regard to pending approvals.
• Ensuring to book the patient for the follow-ups with the Dr at the end of every visit.
