• Reporting to JM Director. Handling multiple projects around the State Operation & Overall staff of 1200+.
• Heading State Operation & Maintenance of Mining Equipment’s and responsible for overall States (12 Sites in various location) with required manpower
• Responsible for the efficient Asset Management of the Heavy Mining equipment fleet and Mine site support material handling equipment fleet by approaching maintenance as a continuous improvement process with the goal of safety, enhancing asset reliability and optimizing costs.
• Facilitate Component Replacement planning based on life & health of equipment for the fleet to reduce downtime & cost of maintenance, failure analysis and warranty management.
• Responsible for monitoring & audit of HEMM maintenance, Safety and compliances of SOPs, SMP, SWP at the
mining project
• Identifying required Modifications in equipment, process flow, working practices, consumables, power for cost
Reduction & Forecast and Manage Maintenance Budget - CAPEX, OPEX.
• Ensuring maintenance of contracts, OEM service agreements and coordinating with OEM dealers on
issue related to maintenance, failures and warranty claims.
• Facilitate and manage forecasting activities for Spare parts, identify and plan first fill spares, equipment and
tools needed for operation and ensure availability of all critical spare parts to avoid downtime due to
waiting for parts.
• Ensure the maintenance team is timely provided with all necessary resources (Budget, Manpower, spare
Parts, right tools) to efficiently implement maintenance plan and enable Operation achieve production targets.
• Ensure HSE and quality standards are incorporated in the maintenance system & procedure, train people on
safety best practices and ensure safety culture is embedded in the team
• Heading Central workshop for Refurbishment of Various mining equipment’s, Volvo Trucks, HMV, LMV, sub assy service planning to ensuring the maximum availability of equipment’s to meet site requirements
• Responsible for Various mining equipment’s service and maintenance of Backhoe Excavator -Hitachi make EX1200, EX870, EX650, EX470, Volvo Make EC750, EC700, EC460, Komatsu make PC450, 300, Dozers- D9R, BD355, D155, Loaders - Liternou L950, WA900, L220G & H, SDLG L958F&L, WA470 & Komatsu HD785 & BH85 - 100 & 85Ton dumpers, CAT 773D - 60 Ton dumpers, Volvo trucks -FMX440, 400, Graders -GD705, GD511, CAT 140H, Dozers - D275, D155, Grader- GD825 & Diesel Generator from Cummins 15 - 1000 kva.
• Reporting to Director. Handled main workshop in Lubumbashi and multiple branches around the Congo.
• Responsible for all over the branch vehicles service and maintenance with required manpower
• Responsible for service and maintenance of TATA, HOWO - trucks, Caterpillar - dozers & graders, Liugong - loaders, caterpillar & Sany make backhoe excavators and Toyota - Light commercial vehicles
• Handling the overall workshop activities and field service and ensuring the maximum availability of equipment’s to meet branch requirements.
• Responsible for annual parts planning from overseas countries (India, South Africa, Zambia and Dubai) with competitive prices.
• Responsible for Local vendor’s development, service planning and budgeting by achieving the fixed targets.
• Responsible for warranty handling with suppliers and providing technical support to the team for improve the fleet availability based on application.
• Reporting to General Manager -Mechanical. Handling direct staff of 100+ & indirect staff of 450 +.
• Over all managing the Maintenance/ Planning activities of Plant and Equipment includes Heavy Mobile Equipment, Commercial Vehicles and all ancillary/ Supporting Equipment’s used for Mining & Construction Projects
• Ensuring and in implementation of predictive maintenance program for the critical equipment by inspecting & checking the performance of the equipment.
• Responsible for service and maintenance of Caterpillar & Komatsu Dumpers, Shovels, Backhoe excavators, Loaders, Grades, Dozers, BhartBenz trucks, Light commercial Vehicles.
• Responsible for parts and service planning and budgeting by achieving the fixed targets.
• Responsible of monitoring of Maintenance contracts like FMC, AMC and renewal of contracts, Insurance claim and renewals of fleets.
• Responsible for service and maintenance of Front end shovel/ Backhoe Excavator -5130/385, 330, Dozers- D9R, D8R&T, Loaders - 966G, H & IT28G & komatsu150, 100 Ton dumpers - HD1500, HD785, Dozers - D275, D155, Loader - WA900-3, Grader- GD825 & Hitachi Front end shovel/ Backhoe Excavator -EX2500/355.
• Handling the overall activities of Workshop and field service and ensuring the maximum availability of Equipment’s to meet production targets
• Responsible for carrying out Erection & Commissioning of all large sized Construction & Mining equipment’s in southern region.(Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala)
• Promoting Service marketing as AMC, SSA, FMC to various Customers at southern Region and achieved the same

•Pre delivery Inspection PDI Commissioning, Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance, Field Campaign, Customer training, Engine & Transmission Overhauling, Major & Minor Trouble Shooting of M/s CATERPILLAR Mining & Construction Equipment’s & Product support to the customers.
•Troubleshooting and Rectification various Problems in CAT HEX (CAT 320B, C & D, CAT 330B, C & D), HM2021Std & Z-bar, TT2221-1 & CLB(T)- 754 Transmission, CAT 424 B/L, HM 1025, 1035, 777D Dumpers.
•To promote service and cost effective solutions such as AMC, ASC, MARC& SOS agreements to the customers, which are beneficial in cutting down the maintenance & break down costs & improve productivity
•Implemented latest maintenance practices such as SOS, CHS, CTS & usage of ET.
•Detailed Failure Analysis of failed parts and warranty claim preparation.
•Coordinating with all 30 branches for immediate commissioning of machines and Follow up for settlements from Principals and Tracking the Performance of CAT Warranty Machines
•Getting extended warranty Registration from CAT District and providing to the Customer.
•Support field service engineers under GMMCO flagship by SIS and SIMS ’i.
