• Effectively delegate any maintenance and safety issues to be resolved on each shift and projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.
• Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
• Develop a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activity and lead the team to deliver effectively.
• Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data system.
• Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s).
• Manage, Coach and develop a high performing maintenance and safety team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continues improvement.
• Set department objectives, job description, policy and procedures, KPIs and review assess ongoing performance in direct reports.
• Ensure the delivery of the maintenance and safety strategy within area of accountability.
- Manage the overall cycle of new Projects, including planning, budgeting, work scheduling, resource management, co-ordination, work supervision, monitoring and controlling in order to ensure that the projects are complete within the specified time frames, and reported directly to the General Manager.
- Manage and coordinate overall activities of the company execution to ensure an effective service is provided to facilitate the achievement of process /organizational requirements.
- Advice /Guide the team, coordinator with other department (such as HR, finance, IT, Quality Assurance, etc) and external parties (such as Internal suppliers, External Suppliers, contractors, Subcontractors, etc) to resolve relevant operational issues.
- Design and installations of new electrical and mechanical systems (Firefighting System, FM200, Novec, Kitchen hoods, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control System, Low Current System, Low Voltage system, Metal Detection System, Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Boilers, Switchgear, MDB, etc…) to meet the project specifications.
- Introduce and carry out asset management strategies (life cycle costing and Company Budgets) and risk analysis for all Project and organization, identify the bottle necks of the company in terms of capacity and availability.
- Ensure the relevant areas are complaint with required health and safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
- Manage the energy utilization of the organization, monitor usage and deploy suitable conservation strategies to ensure the optimum energy usage at the company.
- Review the effectiveness of related internal systems /processes and polices, etc, identify areas for improvement and design / modify as required to bring about a continuous productivity improvement for execution departments.
- Assess resource requirements prepare annual departmental/ support preparation and control of organizational budgets, monitor and authorize expenses analyze variances and implement control measures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Lead, direct and motivate the team, monitor team performance and give feedback, ensure capabilities of the team meets present and future organizational requirements.
- Review the Sales and execution KPIs including technical stores, Lead the engineering team to achieve the set targets and improve the company efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by General Manager.
- Lead and Manage Engineering Services Team to ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Attend sites for pre-award/tender inspections/visits, if required and when needed, arrange and attend business seminars with customers.
- Review, approve and implement all company standards, policies and procedures
- Direct and monitor all personnel activities within Execution area including manpower forecasting, staff assignments and performance reviews.
- Implement policies, established procedures and expedite workflow.
- Development of strategies, plans, programs, policies and administration of all technical activities of the company.
- Preparation of presentations, design systems, project plans, installation, maintenance and quality control of Low Current Systems.
- Implementation of action plans and programs designed to ensure optimum utilization of available resources in addition to coordinating the work of the Operations Department with other departments to achieve the effective functioning of all processes in company including all kind of maintenance contract agreements.
- Supervision of internal and external procurement. In addition, supervision of dealing with shipping and clearance companies.
- Work as project manager for the following projects of Low Current system and Electrical (Q.A.I. Airport, Al-Tafeileh prison, Al-Mafraq Hospital …)
- .Supervise head section of installation and maintenance department and head section of engineering department.
- Reporting to the General Manager, Budgeting and controlling costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value of money.
- Following up with client's feedback to obtain client satisfaction, using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- Anticipated in proposal and RFP's documents.
- Set up KPI and services standards and procedures.
- Determine the responsibilities and duties of the Maintenance Department for Low Voltage and Low Current System.
- Prepare job description for the maintenance department engineers and technicians.
- Develop log books, work order form, evaluation reports, and other administration activities for the Maintenance Department.
- Setup the relationship between maintenance department and other departments (procurement, warehouse and contractors).
