- Developed a framework to operate key functions and processes as part of setting up the new Operational Risk Unit (ORU).
- Developed a new Bank Level Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Incident Management Procedures.
- Negotiated the purchase of Wolter Kluwers OneSumex . Implementation has been sucessfully concluded in November 2018. Another system, AVRA Credit Ratings Solution, has been installed in November 2018 to automate SME and Corporate client credit ratings.
- Headed a project of obtaining an Initial Internal Rating for the bank with Capital Intelligence Ratings Agency.
- Participated in a project with the Quality Assurance Department to obtain the ISO 9001 designation.
Heading a department of two Senior Relationship Managers, two Relationship Managers, and one Assistant Relationship Manager, to achieve the below:
- Developing the existing portfolio as well as prospecting and acquiring new clients according to business plan/budget, target market and the Bank’s underwriting norms.
- Proactively manage existing portfolio of corporate relationships, source new business, analyze credit proposals, maintain credit quality and generate revenue towards achievement of corporate budget.
- Primary credit accountability for all lending decisions on accounts within job holder’s portfolio.
- To access and analyze credit risk in depth and take responsibility for the preparation of comprehensive limit applications and regular annual reviews in timely fashion.
- To proactively identify potential problem accounts at an early stage and recommend appropriate remedial action to minimize credit losses.
- To identify, market, source and book new business, and develop and monitor existing corporate relationships so as to maximize revenues.
