- Ensure timely preparation of the financial statements and management accounts.
- Ensure integrity and reliability of accounting records, financial statements and management accounts, and liaise with external auditors for completing audit formalities.
- Provide commercial and financial support to the management in terms of various analysis, projections and other financial information required for effective decision making.
- Ensure efficient and effective internal control procedures
- Ensure necessary banking facilities are available to the company at minimum cost
- Guide, develop, motivate and provide necessary training to the staff under supervision
- Preparing feasibility study including cash flow, discounted cash flow and project terminal value
- Preparing annual budget, standard costing and financial ratio analysis.
- Reporting directly to the group Chief Audit Executive
- Responsible for independently auditing major companies within the Group
- Review the accounting system, internal controls and company procedures to evaluate and improve the existing system and insure its compliance with company policies
- Participating in Oracle ERP implementation conducted by eminent team of KPMG's (Finance and Distribution Modules) and scrutinizing the system control aspects for the group
- Responsible for special assignment and function wise audit as well as prepare audit plan, scope and procedures for sub-ordinates
- Assessing potential risk and evaluating relative risk management activity
- Reporting directly to the Audit Manager
- Participating in auditing major companies within the group
- Study the accounting system, internal control and company procedures to evaluate the existing system and ensure its compliance with company policy
- Prepare management report covering detailed analysis of all financial statements
Reporting to the Audit Manager
- Conducting interim and final audit in accordance with the assigned audit plan
- Preparing of audited financial statement according to international accounting standards
Maintaining customers / vendors accounts
- Maintaining merchandise inventory accounts
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Job costing - Accumulating of costs for each project and analyzing their respective variances
