I founded Parallel Interiors in April 2014. Parallel Interiors focuses on designing inspirational and creative interior designs and architecture that challenges local design traditions, implementation traditions and methodologies.
I was responsible for all the roles a starting company requires to make it into the market, hire great talent, find clients, coordinate with suppliers, find new marketing opportunities as well as tackle designs from a different angle.

Responsibilities:
- Management of a team of 4 architects and 1 drafter including setting roles for all employees, coordinating their schedules by outlining a basic project plan, delegating work requirements to the architects, appointing the architects as project managers in order for them to completely follow up on the clients and design, coordinating and taking the design in the required path and direction to ensure quality design and office methodology, assisting architects with technical details, assist them with planning coordination with multiple disciplines and ensuring the project is on the right track.
- Marketing of the company, I was able to find all commissions through new and unconventional marketing methods, including online marketing methods and on site advertising methods
- Able to produce a 80% closing rate from october 2014 until the present, where most of the clients I meet hire Parallel Interiors as the designing architect
- Produce fully detailed project packages, including electro mechanical drawings, interior design drawings, bill of quantities, full quality renders, project specifications as well as all required supplier coordination for tiling, fixtures, mechanical fixtures (solar, PV, Cylinders, AC), smart systems, Alarm and security systems
- Supervise the projects on site, and coordinate with subcontractors involved in the project. As well as providing tenders from multiple subcontractors for project costing and budget
- Coordinating multiple projects with the architects to make sure the project is on track and deadlines are met.
- Worked on the companies business plan design, business development and financials to ensure the sustainability of the office, office future projections and opportunities
Paradigm DH is a leading design company in Jordan, working in interior design as well as architecture. The company focuses on designing high quality spaces that challenges the norms of design in Jordan. Experimenting with materials, spaces and patterns is a crucial part of the companies methodology.
Since paradigm was a starting company at the time, I played a crucial role in designing the interior or architectural spaces, developing the project to a more advanced level and drawing all the required details.

Responsibilities:
- Project designer and conceptual design of interior and architectural spaces, including presenting mood boards to clients, present conceptual ideas, 3d modeling of spaces, coordinating with 3d visualizer, selection of all materials, furniture and wall treatments and finding an optimal solution for the spaces aesthetically, functionally and technically.
- Conceptual development to take the projects by proposing multiple design options to explore design opportunities to ensure the design reaches a mature level with an eye for details, design principles and space aesthetics.
- Design development including coordinating with structural, electromechanical, Bill of quantity and visualizing disciplines. Made sure that all the mentioned disciplines work and input were in accordance with the projects design and solved problems regarding any discrepancies from the mentioned.
- Fully produced working drawings, with all details, specifications and requirements to ensure that the project is implemented as per design. Furthermore, the design of special details with a keen eye on joints and assembly methods.
- Partial on site supervision to ensure that the implementation is in accordance with the design, details and specifications
- Meetings with clients to present designs and discuss the direction, meeting with suppliers to choose materials and fixtures.
Sahel Al Hiyari Architects is an award-winning, design-driven Amman-based architectural practice, led by principal architect Sahel Al Hiyari. SHA is a design studio that aims to produce architecture of excellence regardless of scale, budget or location.

Responsibilities:
- Designed and conceptualized a range of options for different projects including office, residential and resort projects.
- Planning and design of residential units for an urban project. Research and analysis of the integral components that were used in the design approach for the urban plan.
- Performed rendering and photo editing for conceptual renders that were used for presenting the final design.
- Conducted site visits and analysis to assist with the preliminary design ideas and strategies for the design phase.
- Assisted with the choice of materials and furniture regarding some projects.
MARAM Construction Company is a leading diversified company carrying out construction, engineering, and procurement in Jordan. - Construction of Al Rajhi Bank Branch. Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:
- Worked directly with the appointed head architect and assisted with the development of the proposed design according to the requirements of the client.
- Produced shop drawings for the implementation of wood, glass, tiling, stone, alucabond and other requirements by different subcontractors.
- Prepared information regarding design, specification and materials.
- Generally acted as the leading individual contributor and coordinator of design problem-solving.
- Responsible for overseeing that all necessary work is completed and carried out material inspections.
- Reviewed and approved electrical and mechanical plans submitted by subcontractors for ventilation works, electrical outlets and systems, etc.
