Managed 2 projects of package value exceeding 160 million AED.
Responsibilities:
* Establish a good, solid and strong relationship with The Client, The Architect and The Consultant
and maintain it throughout the project's duration and afterwards.
* Conduct technical workshops with The Architect and Façade Consultants to identify problems and
potential interface issues before and during execution of the project and sort them out with the
relevant subcontractors in a timely and cost effective manner.
* Work closely with the commercial and planning teams to record, assess and process variations,
E.O.Ts and claims.
* Work out value engineering with The Architect and the Subcontractors to ensure a profitable and
cost-effective package is assigned to the right subcontractor.
* Ensure an open and clear communication is established between team members of the Main
Contractor as well as the Subcontractors in order to minimise inter-trades miss-communication and
ensure proper coordination.
* Review and approve materials, drawings, technical submittals, method statements and risk
assessments.
* Inspect work in progress and completed works as per the agreed ITP and QA/QC policies and
procedures.
* Develop and implement a progress monitoring system with K.P.Is and cash flow analysis to ensure
that the Subcontractors are progressing in line with the project's programme hand over target date.
* Ensure that the project is executed in a safe manner by identifying high risk activities and
implementing NEBOSH approach to handle and control hazards and risks.
* As an integral member of the project's senior management team, participate in overall project's
steering committee, planning and strategic decisions.

at a Main Contractor, managing the Façade Package of several mega projects in Dubai and
in Abu Dhabi with a cumulative façade package value exceeding 1.8 Billion AED.
Responsibilities:
* Communicate with The Architect from as early as the pre-tender stage and throughout the project’s
duration to ensure that the project's buildability, specifications and coordination issues are deeply and
intensively studied in order to minimise potential contractual risks.
* Establish a good, solid and strong relationship with The Client, The Architect and The Consultant
and maintain it throughout the project's duration and afterwards.
* Work closely with The Architect and Façade Consultants to identify problems before and during
execution of the project and sort them out with the relevant subcontractor in a timely and cost effective
manner.
* Managed to work out a technical solution for a major glazing problem at one the highest and most
prestigious towers in Abu Dhabi that had caused the project to stop for over a year. The solution was
approved by The Architect and 2 International Façade Consultants and the project resumed and was
handed over at the agreed revised time without penalties or LDs.
* Assist the Commercial and Planning teams to record, assess and process variations, E.O.Ts and
claims.
* Ensure an open and clear communication is established between team members of the Main
Contractor as well as the Subcontractors in order to minimise inter-trades miss-communication and
coordination.
* Review and approve materials, drawings, technical submittals, method statements and risk
assessments.
* Inspects work in progress and completed works as per the agreed ITP and QA/QC policies and
procedures.
* Develop and implement a progress monitoring system with K.P.Is and cash flow analysis to ensure
that the Subcontractors are progressing in line with the project's programme and hand over date.
* Work closely with the Safety team to ensure that the project is executed in a safe manner without
hindering the progress rates.
* Ensure that the company's interests are protected by maintaining a record of and answering all
communications, contractual letters, V.Os and claims.
* Worked as a core member of the Claims and Arbitration team for a 350M AED claim and played a
key role in winning the arbitration following extensive 3 years of investigation and cross examination.
* As an integral member of the project's senior management team, participates in overall project's
steering committee, planning and strategic decisions.
* Work with the pre-contracts team to assess, evaluate and value engineer tenders and help secure new
orders.
* Train junior staff, team members and engineers about package management, risks and controls.

* Managed to achieve a market share growth from 10 % to over 50 % in U.A.E in 3 years.
* Review and appoint competent distributors for each market and/or product sector.
* Provide technical and marketing training for the GCC and MENA distributors.
* Conduct technical presentations, seminars and conferences for Architects and Consultants to ensure
a continuity of sales through product listing in projects' specifications and preferred vendor lists.
