Initially hired by this rapidly growing bank as a network administrator; promoted to VPO to manage short/long-term IT projects and meet critical deadlines, designed the IT systems architect, overseen the training programs for the bank new employees, planned, implemented and executed the bank security policies, negotiated and executed the vendors contracts, managed the relationships between vendors and the IT department, lend an IT perspective to strategic planning of bank growth, and play an instrumental role in building a disaster recovery site. Served on the IT steering committee, prepared the IT budget and made sure that it will meet the bank growth and goals.
Promoted to perform network administration functions for 7 branches throughout the West region for this $500-million, 24-branch bank. Provides daily user support to 680 personnel and maintains all branch servers. Ensures seamless, efficient network functioning. Plans and coordinates upgrades on main servers and branch servers. Participates on a development team challenged to design the future LAN/WAN infrastructure for the entire bank.
Dubbed incoming orders, including converting to VCD and DVD, synchronizing transcripts with recorded video and video files on Live Note software, and making LEF conversions on the Live Note website. Followed up with I-Dep and YES EDIT job orders. Administered the e-mail server.
