Reporting to Board / Chairman / CEO

Reporting to CEOs and the Chairman
* Supervise multiple entities for various segmentation (Hospitality & Properties-Real Estate)
* Supervise holding group real estate construction projects operations & projects Finance activities.
* Review and validate consolidated reports and financial statements (16 companies)
* Prepare strategic vision for supervised segments
* Supervise supply chain finance for whole group.
* Maintain consolidation and merging company’s records for budgeting and tax planning matters
* Board Financial member for Steigenberger / Travco Holding JV.
Targets/ Tasks accomplished -
* M &A for new investment (hotels land bank in Red sea areas, due diligence with bank to finance the new investment,
handing over process, review time to date financial stamen and assure clear liabilities and obligations, count the asset
for re-evaluation and update the group asset register, 92% of owner share were for acquisition with total amount of
EGP 500 MM, all arrangement were done to enrol the new investment into the group consolidations for further
development based on finance module for the said investment
* Capital project Investment finance form CIB ‘commercial international bank’ overdraft reconsidering to new Acquire for
Loan finance with foreign exchange interest’s reconciliation.
* Development of Capex projects documentation with required presentation and feasibility studies required from other
departments to maintain open channel with banned lender.
* Succeed with potential lender / financer to reinitiate closed session of negotiation to acquire further loans.
* Initiate channel financing for accredited supplier and contractor to get finance by Group banks
Financial Planning & Reporting (Iraq & Kuwait operations)
* Reporting to SVP Finance & SVP country Director
* Guide the region in developing strategic direction of business plans as well as monitor achieving them.
* Oversees formulation of annual budget.
* Develop key performance indicators that support strategic direction.
* Guide the region in developing monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) forecasts, MTP updates and fixed expense and capital
forecasts.
* Prepare and analyze region gross margin (GM) & perform region P&L analysis by the fourth business day after month end
close.
* Prepare and present monthly region financial performance results to top management including the review of regional
expense management controls and analysis results.
Financial Operations Management / Control
* Serve as financial advisor to direct region management.
* Participate in functions and decisions of the executive management
* Participate in monthly review meetings with region management.
* Manage the accounting, treasury, tax, and human resources
* Provide program P&L support to region as well as review prior to submission to Pricing and Estimating group.
* Act as the region’s main focal for corporate driven initiatives such as month, quarter, half and annual Revenue, margin,
and fixed expense forecasts & Business Plans.
* Actively participate in region account receivable collection activities.
* Provide regional tax and audit support to HQ as required.
* Provide first point of contact for Finance issues for the regions, working with Purchasing and Accounts Payable
departments to ensure timely payment of invoices, payroll reviews, etc.
* Develop concepts for general management improvement within the regions e.g. cost buster activities, etc.
* Control, validate and approve region payroll prior to submission to HQ for approval and payment
* Provide regional project support in areas such new asset development.
* Provide ad-hoc support to region management as needed.
Treasury Management
* Monitor projected cash balances
* Arrange for financing to meet future cash requirement.
* Maintain domestic and international bank account database, prepare annual survey for divisional verification of
accounts and signers, and reflect any changes in database.
* Prepare and maintain all required treasury documentation.
* Invest excess funds based on projected cash balances
* Act as Liaison with banks and financial institutions to handle inquiries, investigations and monitor accounts.
* Prepare and maintain all required treasury documentation.
* Assist in internal and annual external audit as requested. Perform Treasury Dept. Sarb-Ox ACTS Assessment/Review as
required.
* Treasury Achievements: succeeded in acquiring loan amounted 40 million Saudi Riyals (needed to financing
region major projects) to be refunded in 5 years (Riyadh Bank - Saudi Arabia
Risk management:
* Understanding of current & potential risks the business is subjected
* Take steps to mitigate risks, including the use of control system, shifting risk to other parties and insurance coverage.
* Report on risks to the board.
Projects completed / Achievements:
o Riyadh METRO Project (JV Finance Manager)
o Aramco / Al Khafji Development Projects
Responsible for corporate planning and project economics for business in Egypt, Libya and Algeria
* Controlling and planning for expenditures of 2 billion EGP
* Support for renegotiation of commercial terms for several major onshore & offshore development projects for M&A
activities
* Perform monthly reviews of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts relating to area of responsibility
* Assists in the development and implementation of policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management,
budget, accounting, and/or payroll insure all financial transactions related to the business are properly reflected in the
accounts and are consistent with the generally accepted accounting principles and company policies
* Work together with commercial management for preparation and submission of all sales and expense budgets
Compliance to auditors, make all necessary adjustment
* Assure company’s investment opportunities(ROI- prospective)
* Budgeting and resources allocation :maintain and control
* Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory developing external
relationships with appropriate contacts, eg auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
