M/s. SATORP as Project Engineer (From 4th July 2012 to Still continue) JV of Saudi Aramco & France’s TOTAL Petroleum Company. Dept. Technical - Project Division.
(Refinery Project full cycle - Brownfield to Commission to stabilization now to Optimization)
- Working in the responsible Project Division for project execution of Refinery (Concept to Commissioning) independently handling design /Engineering, construction and handover to end-users mainly Operation Dept., Maintenance Dept.
- Prepared SOW, SOR, FDS and technical specifications for major Management of Change (MOC) projects including PCR (plant change requests) through GATE system.
- Prepared structured contract documents, developed initial Contracting Strategy, stage gate approvals, invited bidder, conducted mid tender meetings, Bidder conference, issued tender bulletins & Tender clarifications, and conducted technical & commercial evaluations, negotiations and award of contract.
- Carryout / Participate in FEED, HAZOP, Project Risk Assessment (PRA).to ensure safe working and operating conditions in the project/plant.
- To ensure Project safety standards are met or exceeded.
- To co-ordinate with the discipline engineering expertise to ensure that interfaces are managed so that the plant will function in accordance with the Project Basis of Design.
- To monitor the EPC Contractor in the execution of his responsibilities under the EPC Contract
- Ensure that all interfaces are coordinated in a logical, systematic and professional manner, monitoring the activities of the EPC contractor in order to achieve a safe, healthy, environmentally friendly, and timely and within budget realization of the project.
- Lead Project risk management reviews for the project.
- Ensure to have all plans and procedures to be in place for the project.
- Leads the project execution to be in compliance with MOC standard through GATE system
- Liaise and coordinate with the other disciplines (Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Instrumentation and HSE) in the resident team to adequately manage the interfaces for areas where additional expertise is required.
- Monitor and review the activities of the Contractors, ensuring that their activities are in accordance with all Project contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Keep the Project Head fully informed and highlight issues which have an impact on Project Basis of Design, cost or schedule or safety or regulatory compliance. Provide verbal and written reports as necessary in order to communicate such information.
- Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders/regulatory authorities as required to achieve timely approvals mainly Operation, Maintenance dept. as Proponent.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable JERES, JERMS and Project policies and procedures.
- Provide support to Site engineering and construction personnel as required
- Provide support to Site engineering and construction personnel as risk analysis, risk response plan & risk monitoring) and lessons learned are fed back documented within the asset and to internal Company project stakeholders, for the benefit of future projects.

2) M/s. SIEMENS AG & Ltd., as Senior Executive. (From 1 Dec 2010 to 30 June 2012)
A) Project: 1200 MW CCPP of DGEN MAGA Power Project of Torrent Energy Ltd at
Bharuch, India.
Specific Duties: • Project Scheduling and Monitoring i.e. to keep track of site execution and progress to get the contractual milestones.
• Co ordinate for progress meeting with subcontractors.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design
specifications and safety standards.
• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference
points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
• Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations,
concrete and steel.
• Direct or participate in Test/ working Pilling work and required test like vertical, lateral,
Dynamic and pull out.
• Developing project-specific procedures for the work to be carried out.
• Interpreting clients' requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters and engineering problems and ensuring solutions are implemented.
• Reviewing and approval of Method statements for various construction activities.
• Inspection approval from client's consultants of various civil works done by subcontractors.

Project: Qatar Power Transmission System Expansion - Phase IX and Phase VII,
Contract no: GTC 240 A / 2008 and GTC 123 / 2006.
Specific Duties: • Coordination with KHARAMAA for getting required approval like SIS, LOA and CTHS and other permissions.
• Reviewing the Civil and MEP drawings according to the site requirements.
• Responsible for all civil works at site in accordance with the client specification and
QCS.
• Responsible for checking out all work done by subcontractor as per Quality Standard.
• Following the inspection and test plan as per contract specifications, terms and conditions.
• Co-ordination with client/consultant for the approvals and contract related subjects.
• Carryout the material inspection as per contract documents and consultant approval.
• Conducting QA/QC site meetings, project QA/QC meetings with subcontractors and consultants.
• Co-ordination with QA/QC Manager for the follow up the day to day activities and of
Quality management system as per ISO 9001.
• Co ordination between site with HO/ client / Consultant for timely completion of project as per schedule.
• Conducting HSE meeting with safety officer and manger of company and subcontractors at project site office.
3) M/s. Essar Oil ltd, as Asst. Manager- Civil. (From 21 March 2005 to July 2008)
A) Project: Refinery Expansion works at Jamnagar
B) Project: Construction of Retail outlets
- Supervision of the construction of various machine foundation, pipe foundation, Cable trenches and cable duck bank, fabrication of steel structural shad and its foundations, road and drainage works.
- Coordination with sub-contractors, Consultants, Design office and internal functions for design / engineering approvals for timely completion of the work.
- Participate in internal site QA/QC audits conducted by QA/QC&QMS Manager.
- Maintaining and distribute all QA/QC records at site.
- Co-ordination with consultant for the field testing and obtain approvals.
