The incumbent of this position reports to the Project Coordinator in his/her Area. The Supervisor is the principal facilitator for the implementation of RTP project in hand. His/her main role is to plan Right To Play activities in the project location; coordinate and enable the implementation of the approved RTP project; establish and maintain relevant partnerships in the project location; train, monitor and evaluate the staff of partners’ organizations and volunteers (leaders, coaches, animators, etc.), build trust; coach and motivate staff to perform effectively. Evaluate the projects and report accordingly. Oversight is exercised by the Project Coordinator over the staff occupying the Supervisor position as assigned.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Job Responsibility #1: Training (approximate time: 45%)
•Assesses training needs in the area in collaboration with partners and community supporters.
•Delivers workshops using RTP program modules for organizational partners/beneficiaries.
•Delivers training to school teachers and trainers of partner organizations.
•Attends sessions provided by trained coaches and teachers to monitor the activities and provides necessary feedback.
•In consultation with the Project Coordinator and the Training Officer determines suitable events that RTP would participate in.
•Organizes and conducts special events activities, Play Day and sport tournaments.
•Assists Trainers/Coaches in developing their activity schedules, encourages their initiatives and facilitates the activities provided by them.

Job Responsibility #2: Project Coordination and administration (approximate time: 30%)
•Responsible and accountable for the financial part of the project activities.
•Assesses the numbers of teachers, coaches, trainers that could apply the RTP Modules after completing appropriate training, as well as the number of beneficiaries.
•Ensures that partners are in compliance with the organization’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy and RTP values.
•Develops weekly and monthly activity schedules for children and youth including special events in the assigned community in line with the approved work plan.
•Ensures implementation according to agreements with local representation of the Government, UN Agencies, and partner organizations.
•Conducts field visits to ensure that RTP tools are used properly.
•Provides updates on lessons learned, best practices and challenges.
•Provides progress and other reports.

Job Responsibility #3: Monitoring & Evaluation (approximate time: 15%)
•Provides Country Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (CMEO) with count and other reports as required.
•Participates and supports the implementation of the Participatory Monitoring System.
•Assists CMEO in conducting baseline assessments for new projects and existing ones during project expansion.
•Ensures accurate collection and timely submission of quantitative monitoring information according to RTP monitoring tools.


Job Responsibility #4: Partnerships (approximate time: 5 %)
•Establishes and maintains partnerships through regular consultations with local partners, stakeholders and beneficiaries in the implementation of RTP project(s).
•Represents RTP in coordination meetings in the project location.
•Attends regular meetings as necessary with partners.

Field Monitor at world vision international

1.1 Monitoring Distributions Process and stages:
1.2 Conduct field visits and monitor quality performance to areas where Distributions officers assigned for activities as beneficiary outreach, appeals and verification;
1.3 Collect beneficiary feedback on performance and process of beneficiary outreach and appeals and assistance provision quality and availability including hotline assistance through surveys and Focus Group discussions with beneficiaries;
1.4 Monitor distributions process on site and collect beneficiary feedback through quick-note closed question surveys at entrance and exit areas of distribution sites;
1.5 Conduct Post distributions monitoring through surveys and Focus Group discussions with beneficiaries.
1.6 Develop necessary tools/questionnaires for monitoring activities for each stage of activity under supervision of Team leader and Project Manager, coordination activities with AMEU members.
1.7 Collect and record findings of monitoring activities and beneficiary feedback and report them to Team leader on a regular basis. Report findings in provided reporting templates on a timely manner with accurate inputs and information.

2 Monitoring Shops designated for program activities:
2.1 Conduct field visits and monitor process and quality compliance with set standards:
2.1.1 Shop-keepers have established and keeping quality standards for commodity storage/price and quality control;
2.1.2 Shop-keepers showing positive/adequate relationship to beneficiaries
2.1.3 Shop-keepers verifying beneficiary identification/ownership for the vouchers/E-cards and quality of vouchers/E-cards (not counterfeit);
2.1.4 Items being sold belong to approved list by Program;
2.1.5 Vouchers/E-card transactions are in compliance with standards and being documented properly by shopkeepers.
2.2 Monitor and collect beneficiary feedback on quality of service performance of shops by conducting surveys and focus group discussions with beneficiaries and community.
2.3 Assure and keep good established working environment with beneficiaries;
2.4 Consult beneficiaries and shop-keepers in the matter and questions raised related to assistance.

3 Reporting
3.1 Field Monitors have to record all findings of monitoring activities and beneficiary feedback (including complaints) and submit reports and recommendations to Team leader and Project Managers.
3.2 Any finding or issue that needs to be flagged may it be related to program team performance, beneficiary satisfaction or shop-keeper behavior, should be reported to Team leader, Project managers and Area Coordinators in an immediate ad-hoc reporting system.
3.3 Provide all recorded data and findings necessary for data processing to Database manager and team leader.
3.4 Provide recommendations and show initiative on improvement of the work process if needed. Field monitor should keep objective and neutral behavior towards beneficiaries, shops-keepers/owners and own colleagues.


4 Filing
4.1 To ensure that up-to-date files, beneficiary feedback records and other documents are maintained, both electronically and in paper form;
4.2 To support accurate filing of all processed documents, monthly consolidated filing of key project documents in the office.

Public Hygiene Promotion at world vision

Under the supervision of Wash supervisor and Wash head of Project, the Hygiene Promotion Officer will be responsible to participate in hygiene campaign, to participate in house to house Hygiene promotion, and to prepare written material for the field, elaborate clear and adapted message for beneficiaries.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

The Hygiene Promotion Officer will be responsible for :

1- Elaboration of hygiene promotion material.

Identify the most appropriate message regarding the target population.
Write clearly and understandable message.
Evaluate the necessary material needed for a campaign/activity.
2-House to house visit and hygiene campaign.

Mobilise the community to change behaviour regarding hygiene practice.
Ensure the work is properly done and the material use wisely.
Participate in hygiene campaign, doing shows in schools and at community level.
Animate focus group, giving clear message on good hygiene practice.
3- Reporting.

Report the progress of the work to the supervisor and the Head of project;
Report possible problem or conflict during the activities.
Data collection regarding the project and the potentials beneficiaries.
Regular reporting to Hygiene Promotion Manager and to the Head of Project.
4- Other water and sanitation
