1- Carry out Civil and Structural engineering designs independently with reference to international codes and local legislation. Monitor contractor quality performance.
2- Responsible for all design and checking of civil and structural drawings.
3- Check and prepare design and engineering documentation.
4- Finish my work in accordance with the planning and scheduling of the structural design stages for the project in coordination with Structural Manager.
5- Reviews the Structural drawings done by draftsman and ensure its accuracy and provides guidance where necessary.
6- Co-ordinate with other departments during the various stages of the design cycle.
7- Updating my knowledge to Remain abreast of new, current standards and procedures.
8- Perform all functions and responsibilities in accordance with project procedures and company policy.
9- Conduct reviews on design packages (constructability).
10- Monitor contractor quality performance.
11- Monitor constructor compliance with all applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions
12- Prepare daily report with a brief description of activities supported by the quantities executed.
13- Ensure any site technical queries are handled in accordance with project procedures.
