- Develops adequate policies, procedures and processes for the BU Budgeting & Reporting function to maintain efficient operational excellence in order to achieve ARASCO’s overall strategic objectives. - Monitors the adherence of the Costing function to the processes, policies, and procedures. Installs cost control procedures and provides supervision over cost systems and methods. - Compiles periodic statements of product costs and prepares appropriate operating reports. - Follows up on expenditures of appropriations and supervises the assembly of data and comparison of various budget items. - Conducts special cost studies for use in setting selling prices. - Studies the economics for various projects and programs in accordance with management’s requirements. - Prepares cost analysis for use in contract adjustments in accordance with management’s requirements. - Organizes and assemble cost data, develop analysis, and present cost information to management that is useful for decision making. - Collects and analyzes records of present and past costs incurred to help forecast future revenues and expenses. - Controls departmental expenditure and keeps it in line with the established criteria as defined by the finance policies and procedures - Documents costing types (variable, fixed, direct, and indirect costs) including definitions, methodologies, rules and results (constraints and analysis) and provide to the Management Reporting Supervisor. - Reports periodically on cost objects compared to historical costs. - Implements standard costing, ABC costing, services costing, invoice costing and cost center costing - Develops methods and advises on costs calculating and controlling for the Business Unit. - Develops and prepares reports, which compare actual results to plan and provide accurate information to management. - Coordinates with the Budgeting & Reporting Senior Analyst to report costs, capacity utilization, finished goods to the plants and sales.

Actual & Average costs for inaccuracies. 8) Maintain landed Cost calculation with accuracy of purchase cost for all buy items. 9) Work closely with Purchasing to reconcile Price Variances and book entries as required. 10) Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close. 11) Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by GAAP . 12) Assist in calculation of the cost savings for budget and measurement of actual savings. 13) Prepare, and report margins analyze by product for each segment of business unit, Sales channel, branch, salesman and customer. 14) Work closely with Operations and Service departments to reconcile and explain various operating variances and book adjusting entries as required. 15) Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management. 16) Measure the variance of manufacturing VS budget and forecast. 17) Assist closely for budget preparation and cost calculation. 18) Perform other directly related appropriate duties as assigned.
