It is a combined DCS, SCADA, PLCs control system to manage the grid connection, switchgear, and emergency situations.
• Review power network studies, limitations, needs, and prepare power system scenarios with contingency plans for each expected operation regime. That included the required operator response, the automatic system reactions, needed communications, and control measures. This contributed to the overall training and development plan for the operation and maintenance team members.
• Assist project team (and other Disciplines) to review, approve and monitor the work breakdown structure, priorities, resources, schedule.
• Provide essential technical support to maintenance staf in resolving power system-related issues.
• Participates and contributes to root cause analysis (RCA) and investigation of failures and ensure completeness of its deliverables. I closed 87% of long open RCAs in 6 months in 2019.
