• Establish quality management system for the Project.
• Supervise proper implementation of QMS by supervision team members in the Project.
• Establish HSE management system for the Project.
• Supervise proper implementation of HSE by supervision team members in the Project.
• Monitor adherence of contractor to project quality/ HSE requirements and report to the client.
• Work closely with project team and other project parties to resolve quality & HSE related issues on timely manner.
• Lead project’s auditing plans (internal & second party audits).
• Lead quality & HSE training plans for company team.
• Report on quality & HSE issues to PM and Program Quality Manager/ Program HSE Manager.
• Ensure that the project is built according to approved plans, drawings, specifications and applicable building codes.
• Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the corporate Health and Safety manual, or other safety authorities.
• Ensure efficiency in manpower, equipment and materials to maintain high quality standards.
• Arrange for the various testing required ensuring the integrity of the structure and report unusual findings to Project Manager / Operations Manager.
• Review, maintain and update the construction schedule and ensure milestones and completion dates are met.
• Review sub trade/supplier invoices against executed civil works/field purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the Project Manager or the Accounting Department
• Prepare field change orders to be signed by project owner or representative when requested.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Utilize the appropriate management skills to lead the subcontractors effectively in the day-to-day execution of the work.
• • Inspection of all duties related to civil works/ repair works during construction
• Inspection of all laboratory tests needed to be carried out related to conc. works
• Inspection of batch plant concrete mixing.
• Inspection of casting concrete as per project specs and ACI requirements.
• Following up technical submittals and reports which related to materials.
• Inspection of special finishing items Fixation; (Escalators, GFRC cladding panels, GRG panels, Curtain walls, Aluminum sub-frames, …)
• Inspection of installation and erection of steel link bridge sections.
• Inspection of concrete and materials laboratory testing and supervision of all tests needed to be carried out related to civil works (design mix, batch plants inspection, fresh & hard concrete, water proof, soil replacement and roads construction).
• Inspection of casting concrete elements as per the project specifications and ACI requirements.
• Responsible for preparing all the technical submittals, Q.C. plans and frequent reports.
• Responsible for inspect all the materials, which delivered to the site.
Supervision all duties related to civil works; (site preparation, formwork, reinforced steel fixing, shuttering, concreting, block works, plaster works, painting, facades, cladding and other activities related to finishing works).
