Senior Project Manager for Design and Construction for the Gate District at Shams Abu Dhabi (Al Reem Island) with the following duties
-Assuring completion of the projects within the targeted budget and time as per the approved program of works.
-Assuring quality of works as per the Consultant specifications.
-Visiting the sites and monitoring the progress against the program of works.
-Follow up the progress and management of the project with the project management firms and Consultants.
-Preparation of RFPs for consultants and project management companies.
-Coordination with the developers marketing and sales departments to achieve company goals.
-Review of the Consultants deliverables.
-Review and approval of value engineering exercises and peer review reports.
-Communication of the design information to the construction team.
-Coordination with the developer’s master planning team.
-Engagement of specialist consultant and review of their packages.
-Follow up and monitoring of PMC and Consultants performance during project execution.
-Organizing and attending regular meeting with PMC, Consultants and Contractor.
-Review of Contractor’s claims and reporting to the Project Director.
-Follow up and assessment of all design packages.
I am managing and following up the Client's multiple projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.The projects include high rise buildings, hospital, residential compound and multi story buildings. I am communicating with the Consultants and Contractors to ensure the completion of the projects with the required high standards, quality and time.The following is a brief of my current duties:
-Assisting the Client in the design review of the projects during the various design stages.
-Advising the Client with regard to the need for specialist Consultants according to the projects requirements.
-Master planing for the projects different stages from design stage till completion.
-Review of Contract documents for each construction package.
-Review and preparation of Consultancy, project Management and Contractors agreements.
-Reviewing and assisting the Client in evaluating tenders and negotiations with the tenderers in collaboration with the Project Management firms.
-Assuring completion of the projects within the targeted budget and time as per the approved program of works.
-Assuring quality of works as per the Consultant specifications.
-Visiting the sites and monitoring the progress vis a vis the program of works.
-Follow up the progress and management of the project with the project management firms and Consultants.
-Reviewing Contractor’s submittals after receipt of comments and recommendations from the Consultant and project managers.
-Preparing reports of the projects progress for the Client.
-Minitoring communication and correspondance between the Consultant/project managers and the Client.
-Follow up the authorities approvals and ensurring works are achieved as per regulations.
-Assisting the Client in Negotiating and approving provisional sums items.
-Review and approval of monthly payment certificates upon receipt of the project managers/Consultants recommendations.
