System Site Officer, Translator and Editor of news and reports at ARGAAM Business Info Company (ARGAAM is a leading media company specialized in economic, business, financial and new technology news). With a very good experience in translation in three languages “English, French and Arabic”, in addition to a good knowledge in data and news analysis, long experience in developing and editing stories on a variety of topics with excellent presentation skills. My tasks include:
- Editing business news, new technology news and economic articles, with a good experience in translating economic, financial and complex concepts in three languages “Arabic, English and French”
- Analyzing and translating researches, editing news and reports and making use of the information provided by the rating agencies & research companies in their coverage of the listed companies; such as (recommendations, fair values, profit estimates, earnings outlook…etc)
- Prepare and edit markets’ reports (daily reports, weekly reports, monthly…etc), financial (quarterly, annual …) results of the listed companies (in the GCC stock markets &big international companies), and monitor their progress and their latest business trends, in addition to publishing news online.
- Developing and editing stories on a variety of topics, and follow up of the economic reports and their analysis especially those covering the different economic sectors in the GCC region.
- Preparing Argaam’s press releases in English and Arabic.
- Preparing the listed company’s profiles, which contain the most important data; such as the companies’ capital, activities, subsidiaries, major shareholders, Investments, developments, dividends, trends...etc, and update regularly.
- Prepare content for Argaam web portal and publish it online.
- Prepare and edit press releases in Arabic & English & follow up with PR agencies.
- Replace the IT engineer during his vacation and maintain the server/ Active directory/backups and reply/solve user’s IT requests/problems
- Define the business unit's needs and translate them into IT specific requirements
- Train recently hired people & contribute with HR Department in the recruitment process
IT Engineer In charge of system support and trainings; providing support to users /clients and provide trainings for the use of the company’s SMS software, in addition to:
- System administration & support, Hardware/Software installation, support & troubleshooting
- Installing Windows 2003 server operating system and applying upgrades/patches
- Configuration and Managing Windows 2003 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewall...etc
- Maintaining Servers hardware and software to ensure high level of data integrity and availability
- Backup & Restore, System / Network Performance monitoring & Reporting, System Audit / Security Logging & Reporting, and setting users group policies

“UNIX System engineer” for Schlumberger Information Solution (SIS) Company; providing system support to internal and external clients for Solaris Operating System, Geosciences & Geophysics Company’s software’s and licensing, in addition of providing trainings to users for different clients such as (SONATRACH, AGIP, ANADARKO, TOTAL, REPSOL, BP), and involved in:
- Installation and administration of UNIX Operating System for Solaris platforms (Solaris 9, 10) and RedHat, with a good working knowledge of Solaris 10 and Linux.
- System support, administration, upgrades and patch installation.
- Enterprise Software and hardware installation, administration and support of SUN servers and Workstations (Sun Fire, Sparcs, Ultra, SUN Blades...etc).
- Installation, configuration, licensing and support of Geoquest softwares’ (Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics) like GEOFRAME, Eclipse, OFM, logDB ...etc.
- Installation of Oracle databases for Schlumberger Data Management software’s.
- Perform daily support activities as Application Administrator and ensure regular updates
- Hardware maintenance, administration and troubleshooting of system and network problems & Administration of system backup and recovery solutions.

Trainee-engineer at the IT department of the Algerian National Oil Company “SONATRATCH”, during the preparation of my graduation project, it was a web Helpdesk application for the Division "DATA CONTROL" of the Algerian National Oil Company (SONATRACH).
The Application was a database accessible through a web interface, under PHP and MySQL, and accessible too from Different Platforms (Solaris & Windows), I was working with the Help Desk team and involved in providing support to the employees and end users remotely, by phone, web and on-site.
