Coordinating with various architects & clients and resolving the structural & design related issues; conducting checking of drawing after drafting and cross-checking it to create errorless drawing
Creating and submitting thorough design calculations and design reports to the authorities (Trakhees) in order to get approvals
Reviewing various detailed design drawings such as Mechanical (AC & Ventilation), Electrical, Plumbing, Water supply, DCD, Lootah Gas
Planning, analyzing, designing and constructing Multiple G+1 / G+2 townhouses projects for the ANK developers
Interacting with clientele to ascertain needs and developing graphic directions, concepts and specifications for assigned projects
Making design calculations about loads and stresses and preparing reports, designs and drawings
Attending municipality and consultant meeting for technical discussions
Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval
Preparing proposal offers (quotations), preliminary design for estimation using proposal drawings
Modifying designs and solving complex issues by coordinating with senior design engineering staff
Analysis and Design of concrete/steel structures as per the British and American standards.
Follow up in Dubai Municipality to get approvals prior to construction.
Preparation of design/detail drawing for structures and civil works.
Preparation of design basis, specifications and method of statement for civil/structural works.
Site coordination with site engineers, municipality inspection agencies and site survey in case needed.
Review the shop-drawings submitted by the sub-contractor and verify it with DM approved drawings.
Attends the weekly progress meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and prepare minutes of meetings.
Monitors program of works on monthly basis and inform main contractor about the concerned delays.
Ensure all the materials and work procedures incorporated at site as per the contract specifications.
